  4. Skyline R32 GTST uses a 4.36 R200 diff
  5. I know we have a few bikers on here..... In a couple of months my daily commute will become a 90 mile round trip each day (of which will be about 90% motorway). No way Im using the Z for that so was considering getting myself a diesel but I'm also moving house in a couple of weeks and the new place only really has space for 2 cars (which will be taken up by the Z and the Wifes car), so I'm in a bit of dilemma.... used to be really into bikes when I was in my teens (just 50's and 125's on a CBT though), and it would solve the space issue. Looking into Direct access courses atm. Good Idea / Bad Idea ? What bikes would people recommend, what sort of mpg can I expect and other costs ?, is dealing with Bike leathers everyday and all-weather gear too much of a PITA ? Almost bought an SV650 a couple of years back, got a bit of a soft spot for them and their V-twin lump.
  6. Very clean example with some great mods.
  7. I love these , crack me up
  8. They look identical to the stock Jap clock face, but reads up to 300kph KPH and therefore requires a seperate Convertor to get them to work. A set of UK clocks look better IMO (more detailed speedo face) and read in MPH (180mph) with the pressure gauges in PSI, and does not require a convertor. (convertors have an affect on PAS and Hicas settings) The Red lighting is from changing the bulbs to red led's which you can do no matter what dials you have.
  9.  @ "Si-Moan"
  10. Bleed order is NSR > OSR > NSF > OSF > Front side ABS nipple > Rear side ABS nipple Use Dot 4 or Dot 5.1
  11. The gaskets are reusable (metal), but if you want to replace them then there is 1 between the turbo and manifold, and 1 between the turbo and downpipe. I would recommend getting some new oil feed lines, you can get braided ones. Old ones often get clogged up.
  12. Speak to either John Dixon, AndyP or DTA who can replace the chip in your ECU with a remapped version for around 70-120 pounds. The chip itself does not offer more boost though, it only provides improved mapping to cater for increased boost. You can increase the boost with either a Pair of Boost jets (mig welding tips) or an Electronic Boost controller.
  13. Damn thats a big French fancy Fantastic views.... but we all know you were really taking a pic of the local welsh talent in the fields in there fluggy white coats, you perv :p
  14. Thats the evening sorted, but what about these turbo oil feed pipes  Good tip.
  15. ^^ that works out nearly 90 pound with vat and delivery  Buy it from Nissan Dealer , its much cheaper ! Part number : 26590-49P00 (around 50pound total)
  16. Looks like that will hold plenty of Juice :) ...800 cranking amps isn't that much (stock z battery is around 680 and you can get them all the way up to over 2000) but benefit of that beast is that it will hold plenty without going flat. I went the opposite way and got myself a tiny drycell race battery, I reckon you could fit 5 of them inside your monster battery LOL
  17. looks very clean and tidy from the pics. Your typical average condition 89 non turbo LWB Manual is only worth around 1500 these days, but with your very low mileage and top condition it would be hard to put a value on it. Its a rare enthusiasts car and value varies so much due to condition and spec. Is that a proper agreed value insurance, and by that I mean you had to send them full spec list with half a dozen photo's, and/or they sent an assessor ? If not, and its just a value you gave them when you took out the policy then unfortunately its meaningless and they will ignore it and only ever pay out bottom market value.
  18. Targa's were available throughout entire production on the LWB, and pretty much 99% of Z's out there are Targa. Its only the SWB (2 seater) that Slicktop (non-targa) was an option but the slicktop is a rare version. From 1996 onwards the SWB became slicktop only, but very few numbers were produced in later years.
  19. parcel2go.com and choose the DHL next day option. Depending on length it will be between 10 and 20 pound.
  20. HaPpY BiRtHdAy !!
  21. If you connect them both up to a postive and a negative then the injectors will just dump the contents of your fuel tank into the engine constantly. The negative is not a straight earth, its a trigger wire. Its how the ECU tells each injector when to open and close.
  22. You need to retain the existing negative feed, as thats the trigger signal from the ECU, and supply a new 12v feed to the positive side. I think you can get away with just supplying a positive feed to one injector as the rest are linked, double check for a positive current with a multimeter on the rest after connecting up one.
