Urgent advice please!
If its lifters then its nearly always solved with some lifter treatment and an oil change. Check your oil level and oil pressure, if they are fine then its not an issue to drive it with a noisy lifter until you can do an oil change and add lifter treatment.

Most large companies use Dell Laptops for all their staff, by far the most sold laptop out there. I've had about half a dozen over the years and always been happy with them.

Brakes
from evo 4 upwards I believe. Krsmayo fitted evo8 calipers and has diagram and measurements for the brackets. They are bigger than the GTR/350z setup and a lot cheaper.

MOT Failure - Need advice
If its the all the metal brake lines then it will be the hardlines that run the entire length of the floorplan and up and under the rear subframe. You replace them with new metal brake lines. To replace these is a very big job, it would cost several hundred for the labour involved. if they are not too bad then you can wire brush them and underseal them.

Soon to be ZX owner.
Most Z's get around 350-370 hp with 1bar boost, Induction and Exhaust, but 400 is obtainable with just bolt-on's. Its above 400 that its starts to get expensive. In all honesty do not judge the 300zx on one test drive. There are so many bad examples out there and there are so many that are running around in Safety mode, most likely quite a few members here will be in safety mode since they got the car and do not realise. Have resolved safety mode issues for owners many times and they are always shocked by their cars new found performance levels. I would say over half of all the Z's I have driven over the years would of put me off them for life if I did'nt know what a Good example is like. 280-300 bhp (depending on which specs you believe (listed as 300 in the U.S and 280 in Europe/Japan, but no reasons for power difference) 280 Ib/ft Torque 1580-1600kg for LWB 1490-1540kg for SWB Turbos Can handle up to 17/18psi (but dont expect them to last long at that boost), and your limited by the stock injectors at around 14-15psi (1bar). 4. Car and Driver magazine recorded a 5.2 secs in a SWB Z, however 5.5 - 5.7 secs is around about typical tested figure.

Something's not right there. The GT-Four is near TT pace under 80mph and would easily kill a NA Z. 0-60 is a good second to a second and a half quicker than the NA Z. They have more power, lighter and 4wd grip.

got my S2 PTU loom arrive
In regards to the wiring its a straight forward plug-n-play fitment. If your missing the bracket than just relocate the PTU elsewhere, to somewhere where it can be secured easily. You may have to seperate the wiring shroud that holds the PTU wiring and the Temp sender wires together so that you can place it somewhere else. I have mine mounted under the nose panel. Have seen others near the headlight/fuse box. If you prefer you can just buy the S2 PTU bracket from MJP.
