  1. Congrats to you both
  2. Its the small black box, about size of a packet fo 20 cigarettes plugged into the light loom behind the boot panels.
  3. There is no definition. Im sure plenty of people think they know what defines one though  Its purely a media invented term, and since it was the media that described the 300zx as Japan's first supercar, who are we to argue ;) Its a meaningless word anyway.
  4. Well I loved it, as usual. Great Race. Jenson is in such top form
  5. Black TT Manual Import - The best combo
  6. RPS Sport street is always the Recomended Aftermarket option. Thumbs up all the way. The Max is overkill for your needs, expensive and heavier. Southbend also offer a excellent range of clutches and have a good reputation. Stick to full face clutches, don't go near Pucks. Many fit them becuase ebay is full of Cheap Puck clutches, advertised as "racing clutches". Avoid the Ebay XTD, F1 Racing...etc options. Soooo Many bad reports on them.
  7. Im running a 235mm wide 19row Mocal Oil cooler - 19row is the size Nissan engineers used for the Nismo oil cooler. used existing oil pipes, and just had to replace the short pieces with slightly longer versions inbetween the metal pipes on the crossmember and the oilcooler (you'll see what I mean if you take a look under the nose panel). Fabricated new bracket from sheet of 3mm Steel. I would not go any larger, as you start to cause more of an obstruction to airflow to the Engine Coolant radiator.
  8. Congrats Nick  Get some pics up
  9. Cheers folks :o:duffer: You all invited to my secret suprise birthday party Another decade older :smash:
  10. From the starter, up over the bellhousing......Im trying to find a pic of an empty engine bay that shows it, but so far failed.
  11. no, not waxoil. You need to catch it before it spreads and get rid of the corrosion. Do as Richard says, and use a rust inhibitor primer. It would not cost much for a bodyshop to repair a small area like that and blend the paint in.
  12. If its Marco's (I can't view the video from this connection atm) then they are Dotz wheels.
  13. Anyone got any experience with dyeing Cloth car seats (recolouring, not killing them)? Looking for advice/product recommendations ?
  14. Here they are on my 3rd Z in stock black, front and back, but not a great pic. I Personally think they do nothing for the Z's lines and painted only helps to hide them. Surprised you like them. They are a thick but soft rubber.
  15. From after the cat. The X or H pipe section (the part inbetween the cat and the silencer section) on an aftermarket exhaust could potentially fit, but they are built and sold together with the Rear section, so no guarantee an aftermarket exhaust section would fit with your existing rear section.
  16. Thats TSR Performance in Bridgwater, from a Rolling road day we did there.
  17. Dont remove it. Thats the Splash shield to protect the air filter. Lots of people make the mistake of removing it then suffer a lot of problems as soon as it rains and have to fabricate a new one. As for number plates, Ive always fitted 3/4 size plates from fancyplates.com on the front of all my Z's. They are smaller to improve airflow but not small enough to have attracted any attention from the police.
  18. ^^^ As paul said. You just get one that fits between boss and Wheel. Straight fitment, no need to mess about with the Steering shaft.
  19. Welcome (back). We can see the avatar, if think it doesn't show for yourself as a registered user.
  20. I will be getting the Aerocatch flushmounts for mine. They provide a very neat and tidy install. You could even do them body coloured.
