  1. Only done a few miles in it but no vibration/noise difference from before and after.
  2. Yep, as said, less drivetrain weight and transmission losses. You will gain a little extra at the rear wheels but the more noticable change is from response and acceleration improvements. It will have a similar affect as to fitting lightweight Crank pulley and Lightweight Flywheel. A car fitted with all 3 will rev much quicker with noticeable acceleration improvements. Mine is like a different animal entirely with all of the above!

First track session is 9:36am, you guys are going to be there very early
  4. Yeh but its much more fun to use the resume and cancel buttons for accelerating and braking
  5. Wheels Off. A single 17mm/19mm Bolt and nut on the bottom. Two 14mm nuts on the top For the rear you will need to remove your boot trim.
  6. The Clutch system is Vacuum assisted, and from you have described your Clutch Booster has developed a leak.
  7. You'd be mad to pay that for a chavalier, no matter how tidy it is.
  8. Have you done an ECU code check to see if the fault is cleared ?
  9. Never used Twitter, but Im on facebook, its the one everyone else seems to use. At the end of the day its all about which one is most popular, not much good being on one if the all your friends aren't
  10. yes you can replace the turbos with the engine in place, and no you dont need to remove the heads. The passenger side being easier than the drivers side. Its a bit of a headache to do though, which is why most will pull the engine and thats the recommended method.
  11. They are at the front, they are behind the two grills in the front bumper as far forward as you can get.
  12. Another recomendation for parcel2go here. Will only cost you 10 for next day delivery on anything less than 25kg and 1.2m long, and its all done by DHL.
  13. I think the correct term for the black one is "SIL80" ? Which is a S13 with a PS13 Silvia frontend. You also have "onevia" and "strawberry face" - for different "custom" variations. Basically - people like to shop and change the front ends from other SX's to create unique models, although I believe it originally started becuase the PS13 silvia front end was cheaper to replace after Drifitng accidents.
  14. Japanese had different body options. The Black one has the S13 rear half as we know it, but with the Silvia style front.

Better off meeting at services ? Much more convenient for anybody coming up from outside Bristol so they dont have to come of Motorway ?

There are several reasons that do not indicate an actual fault : Powersteering fluid low Aftermarket steering wheel fitted with non-hicas Boss Hicas Disconnected Steering wheel not on straight (will cause light to come on after a short period of driving)
  17. They are exactly the same shape and fit in exactly same place as the stock plastic sill trim. Skirts go under the door and you either fit them under your Sill trim or trim them so they stop before them.
  18. A noticable difference in Initial bite and less likely to suffer from brake fade. They are bigger than the GTR setup and cheaper too.....definatly the set to go for on a road car for all round performance and value for money. Not really suitable for hard track driving though, they will overheat and warp discs, which is why EVO owners are always selling them for Bigger brakes.
  19. I agree. They have a good reputation and a very decent product spec. I would use them.
  20. same manufacturer....same product....just different branding by different sellers. same manufacturer....same product....but inferior quality.....hmmm ! ;) K-sport is better established of the 2 and is the version I would use.
  21. FMIC's have an aesthetic advantage if thats the look you want, but compared to Aftermarket SMIC's they do have a higher pressure drop, block more air to the Radiators and more of a PITA to fit. I cant reccomend any FMIC's, but if you went down the preferred Larger SMIC router then the Z1 Intercoolers are well worth the money.
  22. ^^ dont even think about fitting coilovers with those spring rates though , and thats the trouble with coilovers in general for the average Z owners who is looking for a mild upgrade but does'nt want to to track his car.....the spring rates are just way too high. stock spring rates are around 2-3 kg/mm. Eibachs are around 3-4 kg/mm (but are progressive wound to soak up small bumps) The coilovers above are 12 kg/mm on the front ! Most coilovers use spring rates around 6-8 kg/mm You can however get custom spring rates made for coilovers.
  23. Sounds to me like your current springs are sagging (if they are the originals then they are way past there usable lifespan by now anyway). The Eibachs only lower by 0.8", its a very mild drop, cars with Eibachs should not ground out on speedbumps at all. Try Z1morosports or conceptzperformance
  24. KYB AGX with Eibach Springs. Excellent upgrade over stock and cheaper than stock Shocks and springs !
