  1. btw - 12 Z's and 6 of them were slicktops !
  2. oh and Paul...your bumper is seriously FUGLY !! :p
  3. Had a Fantastic time, Good to see everyone. The pics look great Ian. I haven't had time to sort my pics out yet. We had Zed's out on 6 separate track sessions, and managed to totally avoid the rain. I am knackered now. Thanks to Bazzaslicky and Zogg for the passenger rides.
  4. Happy Birthday Gaz :duffer::duffer:
  5. are you absolutely sure you have a standard Jap engine oil cooler ? The Standard Jap cooler is proven to be too small, this is why Nissan fitted a 19row oil cooler as standard for all UK and European models. Its quite common for owners to fit the UK oil cooler to imports.
  6. I like a lot, but skeptical about the "lightweight" part at that price and the offsets are'nt too great for the Z .....the rears will stick out too far and the fronts will be sitting in the arches
  7. Pretty sure thats not the Side repeaters, but some sort of badge/sticker.
  8. Except its fibreglass which is why I decided not to purchase it and never would...shame :(
  9. I like the pink one (except the rear lights and wheels and the err..colour). Thats an abflug widearch kit.
  10. Yes 19 row is perfect for the engine. Im running a 19row Mocal Oil cooler.
  11. Except it would be a LOT cheaper and simpler to convert a 300zx NA engine into a Twin Turbo using standard 300zx parts than this STS stuff !! Why buy an expensive and inefficient "universal kit" when you can do it properly with readily available genuine OEM TT parts.
  12. The Black cylinder is the Aircon Receiver Dryer, but just above that you also have either an aftermarket Oil temp control valve or aftermarket oil temp sender.
  13. oh yeh LOL, I did'nt even notice that. The guide plate was still upside down as well though, but not nearly as important LOL
  14. The guide plate is upside down ! (for everyone else - thats the gold triangle piece of metal that the springs are fixed to at the top)
  15. Pointless and Gash! Its LHD (Most likely U.S Market), Brake and clutch cylnders are on the other side.
  16. Slick Pete - http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=131 http://www.smithys-place.co.uk http://www.zcentre.co.uk
  17. I presume when you say "modified" you mean aftermarket bodykits parts becuase the cars typically refered to as Improved stock like Funkysi's and steve300zx's are actually more modified than most of the cars on the forum.
  18. IMO, Shorties suit the smooth look, while the LWB often doesn't. btw the stock spoiler does not create downforce, it is there to smooth the airflow as it exits the rear of the car helping to reduce lift. Aftermarket spoiler is unlikely to do anything at all... it would crack in half before it created any downforce. Cant say I have ever noticed any handling or stability differences in Z's with and without spoilers at high speed.
  19. my shorty is smooth (see sig and rides) although its not all same colour at the moment so not best example
  20. a little sea water is fine, Large quantities of sea waters sodium content can poison the blood and make you sick, but biggest problem with it is dehydration if you were using it as your only drinking source. Just make sure he has fresh water available. Have you see the shit (sometimes literally) that dogs will consume
  21. You can cut the connector of and solder the two wires together.
  22. Si's posting the pics again...post the special ones from before !! ;)
  23. Blimey Si...It will be kids next then !!! I proposed in a Restaurant, very boring Im afraid, but I was very young and wish I made the event more special.
