  1. After a garage tidy up and several cleansing visits to the recycling centre, here we have all 3 units fit as one and what a great investment i have made. It is surprising how much one can store in these, the drawers glide in/out effortlessly and with a quality feel, some drawers are deeper than others you may notice and all lock, i've not even used the lift up top part yet where there is a metal lift out tool tray. Oh and my CZ has crept into the picture - going for respray, full restoration work very soon :sneaky2:.
  2. I am very happy with my Maplin rotary tool and is still going strong. This is more of a heads up because Maplin Electronics Ltd is closing down, i wandered into a store yesterday with plenty of reductions, so if there's one near you pay them a visit. If you click the link in my post above, you'll notice the tool i champion is £34.99, cannot remember what i paid though but for a 170w machine - it isn't bad....up to you though. EDIT : It does look like i only paid £25 having read the above more thoroughly, what a bargain that is, full price when fully trading was £50, so todays £34.99 not too bad with a LCD display......may go cheaper but may go out of stock any day !!
  3. MSP Exhaust Manifolds 300zx TT: New, Never Installed Mike Smith Cast Iron Sold for £783.71 :cool3:.

  5. I agree with everything Simon has said, you need to introduce back some black or oe. You can get a single din 7 inch screen don't you know that'll give you everything you need. https://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/pioneer-avh-z7000dab-single-din-motorised-with-dab-carplay-and-android-auto.html?search=pioneer%20single
  6. What about these Lee, bet you bought some only last week ;). https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MSP-Exhaust-Manifolds-300zx-TT-New-Never-Installed-Mike-Smith-Cast-Iron/232739031491?hash=item363053c9c3:g:9twAAOSwd9Za2GZQ
  7. Find it, take a pic Ian please and with a view to selling perhaps ?
  8. Thanks Lee, i was hoping you'd be showing me an airbag steering wheel, you not got the 'proper' one floating about ? All that is like mine, the plug though is the horn/airbag for the oem steering wheel is it not - so where is your horn with that a/m wheel ? My best bet is to get a late series donor car with cruise (never add it and would like), airbag (including all the crash sensors which are have been removed !!) and a/c (never worked so well and had it removed - now i want it back !!).
  9. That's the squib/clock spring i have Lee, please confirm that it connects underneath with a rectangular brown plug, i think i can just see it. Whilst you're at this stage, please show me the plug for connection to the wheel and also the back of your steering wheel, thanks Lee :).
  10. Good work that man :cool3:. I backed 5 and didn't draw a penny, oh well i had my fun.
  11. What you done and lets hear it before 17.15, it's no good after !!! I've actually got 5 but the one i'll name here is Vieux Lion Rouge :cool3:.
  12. Happy birthday Bob - woop woop !!!!
  13. I received 2 texts, one to say my local branch as received my order and about an hour later one to say my order is ready. So i trots on down there, gave them my details and he goes off armed with his pallet truck - he's a while but i say don't worry about it. Returns with only 2 boxes and is annoyed that someone somewhere has not pulled up on the fact that their stock level is incorrect, i am missing the linked item below. http://www.halfords.com/workshop-tools/storage/tool-chests-cabinets/halfords-industrial-6-drawer-ball-bearing-tool-chest At this point i am realizing these boxes are big and the 2 i see in front of me will fit in my car but doubtful a third. 'I'll have to order the 6 drawer chest, we'll get it here for you tomorrow or Monday now, i am so sorry i'll knock you some money off', my poker face remains, so he duly knocks £40 off (managers discretion it says on my receipt), so my total spend now is down to £406, although it looks like i'll get a further £11 off this because i went through Quidco. Whilst he did my receipt/ordering i saw the opportunity to load my car myself and 2 boxes filled it, so i have been compensation for my inconvenience when i would of had to return anyway !!!! I feel guilty but that'll soon pass . What a piece of kit this is as well, robust, looks the part and a total steal !!
  14. Thread revival alert !!!!!!!!!!! The Halfords tool chests are half price and have been for a while, i went down for a slidey drawer play before the weekend and have been pondering what to do ever since. I then receive an email with 15% off workshop tools, well............................... I concluded i liked the industrial range the best and put the 3 main players in my basket, then the code - 15WORKSHOP which saves a further £75, so all for £446 a no brainer imo, all i need to do is tootle on down, pay and pick them up :cool3:. Not sure as i type but i may even have a further 3% back because i did it through Quidco, no flies on me !! http://www.halfords.com/workshop-tools/storage/tool-chests-cabinets/halfords-industrial-6-drawer-ball-bearing-tool-cabinet
  15. Anything for his pubes but is the idea to rub what's left on your hands down there .
  16. お誕生日おめでとうございます :cool3:.
  17. I know and the good thing is.........you barely need to touch on the subject of oil, unless you're Joel P who does go on, just post any rubbish and ruin his thread - it's also gone kinda unnoticed today that my post count is now in the 6 thousands !!
  18. You don't need oil then birthday boy :tongue_smilie:.
  19. They're horrible - i don't like them at all and would never put anything like that on my own pride and joy :tongue_smilie:.
  20. I have lost internet connection immediately after posting this thread, i have no fuel in my car, all my relatives have forgot where i live, my phone and all my families phones have dead batteries, all my televisions are broke so i couldn't watch the Masters (i believe it concluded last night) and i've broke both my legs so cannot get to the bookies to even ask. Can anyone help me please - i have this betting slip..................is it any good ?
  21. You can take on board what advice you are given but i'll say you need to do a compression test, my guess is it'll be 'down' and i believe this to be your starting issue when it's warm/hot, of course i hope i am wrong and it turns out your engine is strong.
  22. Happy birthday ;).
  23. You lot really need to grow up...........playing with cars and the like at your age .
  24. I was shocked last night when i read about Eric, he was arrogant yes but boy he was the best in a great era, Lowe, Wilson, Deller, etc, and he knew it :(. Smoking and drinking does take its toll is my guess. I remember the 1986 final when he thumped Whitcombe but all through the 80's i watched him.
