For 18 months now all these parts plus more not in the picture have been in my lounge, in and around the marble dining table you see just in at the patio doors, front and rear bumpers are still inside you may notice. Although the lounge we do not use, i owe it to the understanding wife to do something about this, been long enough looking untidy, so with the improving weather and also my respray happening soon, i have decided to move it all and sort as i go and now it all lives in an alarmed log cabin i have, i can pick off things as i rebuild out of here without any pressure or feeling bad using part of the house for storage :).

I had a guy lined up to do my respray 18 months ago (used him before several times) but i was recommended a classic car restorer which sounded good and a man i thought would care and be tremendously thorough, and to be polite and brief he was a joke, don't know why i ever paid him, car has been in my garage ever since, back waiting for my first guy, who i embarrassedly deserted and this time to do a proper job. Read of that what you will :sad:.

The answer to your question is no, not got that far as yet. £44 seems very fare though and i'd be in for that if we can negotiate a GB. Failing that, my respray guy used to dabble/repair cat C vehicles and because of this it makes me wonder if he knows anybody, i shall ask him in the coming week and report back either way.

I'd seen that the holes had been filled, didn't stop me commenting though - a pic with it plonked there might well be food for thought. I have the red emblem on my airbag wheel and it fits a treat, you should come on in Joel.......the water's lovely :p.

I am on the same train of thought as Simon, black wheels do give the car an aggressive look. The only other thought i have...........you've introduced red with the wheel nuts and calipers, do you not fancy a red nose panel 'ornament' ?

I recently went to Tokyo and picked up the lingo...........it's ok, don't worry about it ;).

My production year fits in with that but my quarter glass is fine, door glass is what i seek !!

Is that for sale Pete ? I have inquired about new which i'd very much prefer for the door glass but i half expect nla. Mine although ok have distortion. Some numbers on mine are dot23 as2 nsg m408 e6 43r-00014

What an interesting thread, i had a discussion with an autoglass 'technician' late last year and i showed him my late 94 door glass, we discussed the colour, i said it was blue and he adamantly said it was green - not thought much else about it until now, seems he's correct. This is my 1/4 glass with the paper outside And inside And this is my door glass and according to the author Greg it is the same as his '96 because he quotes it is NSG M408 and that is stamped on my late '94 window. So if i understand correctly the 2+0 from late '94 on is part number 80301-53p00 for the left and 80300-53p00 for the right. This is my glass.......
