  1. I've got one Daz and they're really good. It's basically the same as the iphone 3g (without the phone) and you can install the same apps etc. The only apps that don't work are ones needing a mic or gps.
  2. Does she not need the no claims for her own car? If she doesn't currently own a car then no claims bonus only last two years before you lose it. Also if the insurance company get wise to it being your vehicle with you as the main user, but insured under your mother they can potentially void the insurance. They might look at things like if the car isn't registered at her address etc.
  3. Cut it out you lot :whistling:
  4. Its all lies - i was at home cutting the grass :winkiss:
  5. Its where i got my mower from. They love their mowers
  6. Haven't got a clue. Looks like a wreck to me. But if there is one thing Southport can provide its Lawn Mower advice - we have our very own lawn mower museum - apparently!
  7. Looks awesome and what a difference to the brake discs.
  8. Cheers mate. Its a parking nightmare at the moment. Theres 3 more cars as well. Still can't complain :D
  9. Thanks Rich. Today reminded me just how good the 300zx's are :cool3:
  10. Cheers guys. Yep they are the Rays one. Really suit the car i think. You couldn't handle the power :clown: Yep get your arse into gear and find us another one
  11. Had to get the car out of its resting place today and bring it home. Its been in storage for the past six months and it still started on the first turn of the key  It was nice to drive it again. Now its gone back to sleep under cover in the garage. Until the next time (might bring it to JAE this year:cool3:). Anway i thought i'd take the oportunity to share some pics of some of the family. 99spec meets original Old vs New
  12. In Ainsdale, Southport at 15:45ish. Who are you :alien:
  13. Makes no real difference - only slight differences between them. With the age of these cars you buy on condition rather than anything else. Although I do have a soft spot for the UK cars :cool3:
  14. Exactly - a jap only feature
  15. You're correct Mr Car.Mad. Its a Jap car with a UK headlight panel. Giveaways are lack of headlight washers, no rear fogs, mirror fold switch, fog lights etc
  16. Looks fantastic. I love the rear bumper with the darker lower section.
  17. That ad has finished though. His relisted ones don't list postage to the UK. I've sent him a message asking. Will let everyone know
  18. Is that through ebay. Because he doesn't list a delivery price for the UK
  19. It is  Definately not on the rear lights. They are one part that Nissan definately got right stock, especially in 99 spec form.
  20. Daz, Mike at Formby Car Electrical is the Mini guru and will be able to tell you what you need. See his website: http://www.newministuff.com Oh - and look at the other nice goodies and gadgets they sell for the mini. She could compete with you for the most pimped motor. Is there space for mirrors on the mini :whistling:
  21. UK cars only came with the seat belts on the B pillars regardless of year. None of this silly jap on the door stuff:whistling: Spec wise they're very similar. However UK cars had a nicer trim in the interior (no tweed), wider rear wheels, thicker roll bars, extra rad, etc But very similar all the same.
  22. If you don't change the tyres to the correct size then your speedo reading will be incorrect.
