How crucial is the fan shroud? can I remove it and leave it off?
What about that sticky-backed foil you used on the TT :whistling:

How crucial is the fan shroud? can I remove it and leave it off?
I remember a thread where someone remove the fins on the standard shroud, smoothed it down and painted it. Looked fantastic. Could be an idea.

Hopefully New Z Owner
If you only cover 6000 miles a year then i'd normally suggest its not worth keeping the run-around. But that's only if its a financial consideration. The costs of taxing, insuring, servicing etc the corsa would more than offset the extra petrol the zed would consume. However, it is nice to have a second set of wheels for when it breaks :x: As a person who has six cars though i'd say keep the corsa - variety is the spice of life

just a little something ive done today in the garage..
The trim in my beemer is covered in the same 3m carbon stuff. I was amazed at how well it can be moulded with heat and the finish is fantastic. Its even got a textured feel to it that adds to the realism.

600zx - Finally back to work....
Gutted for you after all the hard work and money. Glad you've not given up on it though, it'll be fantastic when its done.

Been out in my car today, BUT
That's a very generous offer  I thought you'd be sticking the z31 in there?

Been out in my car today, BUT
Anyway what you doing about the brakes? Are you pulling them off the other one or not bothering for the time being? Not that the NA needs big brakes you understand  Have you ever thought about a TT conversion :lol::lol:

Plenum bypass question again
Best just junking the lot. Lose the rad and all the water pipes and never run the risk of a water leak again :devil2:

GT-R's - getting cheaper?!
Then your friend can't drive. Whilst the r35 GTR is fast in a straight line, it was built for the twisties rather than drag racing - hence the rather quick nurburgring laps No - there is little difference between putting your foot down or using the launch function - couple of tenths at most. Any muppet will get a 0-60 in 3.? seconds - just foot down and hold on.
-
GT-R's - getting cheaper?!
That must be some tuned zed you have as the GTR will hit 60 in 3.5secs, 100 in 8secs and top out at 193mph. I can honestly say it accelerates so fast some times it makes me feel sick.

GT-R's - getting cheaper?!
Unlikely. the 2011 model is a slightly revised version of the same car. Diffuser at the rear, driving lights, new exterior colour option and another 20bhp. Oh yes and they have upped the base price to £70k. If anything it'll firm up the price of the used cars

pickt up me new shell today
Better than an upside down death on the farm :thumbup1: Have you stripped your brakes off the new scrapper yet :saddam:

Nearly there, just a bit more polishing
Looking good. Looks like a lot of hard work. Not too sure about the candy black with a chrome fleck paintjob for the rear cover though - i'd have done it the standard Nissan black body colour to blend it in so it doesn't look aftermarket - not that its noticable in pictures. Look forward to seeing the finished product - will it start??
-
exact interior colour??
As standard its not black - according to Gliptone and the leather renovation kit they supply it is "very dark grey"

Lotus Esprit with 300zx Headlights
and only £23,995 for an Esprit that had a "big off" and then put back together by some blind retarded fool. Nice - NOT :hurl:

wheeler dealers
I like the show - mainly to see Edd's work rather than Brewer it has to be said. But they'd be daft to do a 300zx. As much as I love the car i think we are all agreed the 300zx's aren't prehaps worth what they deserve. Now the whole point of Wheeler Dealers is to buy a classic motor cheaply, needing the odd job, and sell for a profit. In the 300zx world the cars are not the easiest to sell, and when they do don't represent the value they should. They are far better doing the cars they already do, that have the classic cult following - Lotus Esprit, Costworth, Porsche 911, BMW 8series to name a few. No one with any common sense would buy a 300zx to make money.

looking for new lcd tv
Agree to all the above. I love my Plasma tele. Just bought a 50" LG to replace a 43" Pioneer that i'd had for 4-5 yrs. The new LG is fantastic and the Pioneer, which is also still fabulous, has gone in the bedroom

Little shithead
Just damage to the rear bumper - because its a mix of painted and plastic its prob unrepairable. Not buying a new one, i'll wait for one to appear on ebay.
