  1. Black of course. Are there any other colours :confused1:
  2. Yeah sold it to some dodgy fella from down south :sneaky2:

  4. Great news Richard, glad to hear it wasn't anything serious and was easily sorted.
  5. I've not seen that spoiler before. Definately aftermarket. Looks similar to OEM but without the center part for the rear brake light. On UK cars a blanking cover was fitted instead.
  6. I agree with everyone above. Refurb the stock items. When they're working properly they're pretty good.
  7. Happy Birthday Richard - hope the Zed is back to fine health.
  8. I like that. Love the interior. Bet it'd wouldn't be cheap by the time its made it over here.
  9. No because you need a regulated output. The car does not provide a constant 12v
  10. Well I hear that ones that run on lithium batteries are the mutts nuts. :smartass:
  11. Makes me feel all kind of special. In good forum spirit I was going to reply something crude - but stopped at the eleventh hour. Changed my mind - its a testicle tickler. Just hook it straight to the car battery - it'll work fine :sneaky2:
  12. Must be bad if you're not letting us know what it is. At least let us ridicule you - that's what the forums for!
  13. UK cars were never series 4. There was only two variants of the UK car and both had cruise control and neither had folding mirrors. It's some strange assembly of bits that car - either a UK car with an import interior, or a jap with uk bumpers. I'd leave well alone.
  14. I'm surprised by that. I used the leather cleaner yesterday on my BM and it brought the seats up a treat. Look like new now. Were you following the instructions and wiping it off with a clean damp cloth?
  15. Yes if you don't want to have to fill and respray. The UK logo is recessed into the panel.
  16. Looks like you may have the RCA lead missing. If so it'd be best to buy a replacement rather than the halfords option above. If you're going to the trouble of installing amps etc it may as well be done correctly. Unless as mentioned above the amp has high level inputs which are designed to be connected to speaker connections. Formby Car Elec may be able to source the Pioneer cable if needed.
  17. Me too. Drove to the South of France in 2005 and always wanted to do another driving trip. Getting the ok from the wife to dissapear, leaving her and the kids is the tricky part.
  18. Only way to know is to drive them both. I'd vote the BMW as it is quicker and will most likely be a better drive.
  19. You can't, alas its not meant to be. You could try and fit one but it'd just fall off (hopefully)!!!
  20. Each to their own i suppose - but wtf
  21. I've got a LandRover Freelander 2 that went in for a repair to the diff (amongst other things) under warranty on Dec 14th. Got given a Hyundai i30!!!!!!, never mind thought I it was only for two days, but it wasn't. Then we got the snow - the one time you actually need a 4x4 and i've got a loan Hyundai:angry:. After lots of moaning to them I managed to change to a courtesy Freelander 2 on xmas eve - and i've still got it. Who knows when i might see my car again - bloody main dealers! Would you believe - and i'm finding it difficult myself - they need a tool thats not in the country. Now apparently it arrived yesterday, but alas theres two parts to it and only ones arrived - you couldn't make it up. Since the dealer is in Liverpool, where Land Rovers are made I politely suggested they get one from the factory - too be told they just bolt the assembled bits together. I'm starting to think they've crashed it or something and are keeping quiet :glare: Courtesy car rant over......
  22. No probs let me know when your in. Anyway back to the topic - someone else tell him a chrome fan is crap :hammer:
  23. i could pop round now if your up, or tomorrow sometime???? and talk you out of the nasty chrome fan!!!
  24. Found the thread i was thinking of - photos have gone though http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=133330&highlight=paint+fan+shroud How about smooth the shroud and then wrap it with the carbon film thats being discussed on the forum at the mo? I've got it in the Beemer and it looks the dogs *****x. I'll show you when i see you next.
  25. Thank god for that! Why not paint it - black maybe? Is it something you want to make a feature of
