why a 300zx?
I knew it

nitrogen
Yeah but the GTR is designed to go round the Nurburgring in 7:20 odd seconds. I doubt you'd notice the benefit in the Zed. But for a £1 a tyre what can go wrong.

why a 300zx?
Only the vert's :winkiss:
-
nitrogen
Only relevant for extreme driving/track work. The benefit is the pressures don't change as the tyre warms up. The GTR is filled with Nitrogen as standard.

number plate valuation
Typically those style of plates cost approx £300 from the DVLA. Now since it means something to Stu only and doesn't have a broader appeal I would suggest this is a fair price. Ignore valuations from number plate dealers, they always quote vastly inflated prices.

plastic lacquer
Polish them with a mild cut car polish. That will remove any swirling and minor scratches and give them a nice gloss.

Some alarms have a timed output included. You just need to set how long. Otherwise (as said above) knock up a timer cirucit - 555 chip comes to mind

Private number plates - love em or hate em?
My primary reason for putting a private plate on the Zed was after spending a large amount of money on it getting it how I wanted, looking like a new car - it seemed a shame to then tar it with a J??? ??? plate

Private number plates - love em or hate em?
Love em or Hate them it depends on the plate. I don't like plates where they doctor the letters or use black screws to make e.g. two 1's into a H.

Yes you can. I removed it on mine, as well as the motor on the bottle and used a grommet to fill the hole.
