Had to get the car out of its resting place today and bring it home. Its been in storage for the past six months and it still started on the first turn of the key

It was nice to drive it again. Now its gone back to sleep under cover in the garage. Until the next time (might bring it to JAE this year:cool3:).

Anway i thought i'd take the oportunity to share some pics of some of the family.

Nice pics Phil....

.....I have seen these zeds in the flesh and whilst the "collector's zed" is good, the 99-spec'd car is superb!!

Richard:cool3:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Something struck me today. I've owned three zeds so far, all UK cars. Yet I have never ever driven one with the t-tops off  Have to do something about that once its back on the road.

If you didn't have such impecable taste in cars it would be quite easy to hate you!

Thanks for the visual feast - and confirming what I long thought to be true.. The '89 spec rear lights look better than the 99 spec. Fact.

When I grow up, I'm going to have a car collection like that too

Ah a stunning collection. :) If your thinking of selling the 99 spec replica at any point then I'd be very interested!

I think its about time we organised a mini meet or even a proper meet for for the NW again :)

Interesting thoughts Leo......

.....I can't say I agree with you but perhaps in Phil's pictures it has more to do with the rear spoilers than the lights. I really like the 99-spec rear spoiler but IMO the original one is just a bit nicer.

So check out each type of rear lights on 2 cars with the original 89 spec spoiler and then decide.....

I love the 99 spec updates. Nice and subtle but truly modernise the car. The rear lights look a little washed out in the pics, but absolutely spot on in reality.

I do like the standard look as well though, Nissan did a fab job. My standard car will be staying "original". Standard cars are a rare beast.
