  1. Mark, 2 way setup just gives you independant control of bump and rebound (3 way has hi and lo speed bump). Spring rates & valving rates would be the same unless specified, so in broad terms it would perform the same but be more adjustable. GB: Possibly, I can ask if there's interest.
  2. I’ve been talking to UK based suspension manufacturer NITRON about manufacturing a kit for the ZX. They’re basically there with it now and prices are as below: NTR Sport £1195 (1-way) NTR Track £2095 (2-way) NTR Race £2395 (3-way) ... all plus VAT Quite a jump up to the Track set as that and the Race set use the piggybacked reservoir canister assemblies. All these kits include new machined top mounts with spherical bearings. We don't use any rubber bushes, only spherical bearings. Spring rates are to your spec but the standard setup will be ~8kg/mm fr and 6kg/mm rear (linear). These are not to be confused with some of the cheaper poorer / low spec quality stuff like tein etc, these are genuine race spec monotube dampers, all ali CNC’d construction. Couple of example pics of what a front and rear will look like (honda S2000 / Ferrari 355):
  3. How bizarre, that was right across the road from my school! Good ole Kilmarnock Academy!
  4. It is + much lighter too so added bonus. You just having one small box at the back like I had?
  5. Exactly what I had on mine! Did sound awsome at full chat.
  6. Nice one, give the pencil neck a slap from me and tell him to get on with my sump pans :D
  7. Speak to Leon at Alunox mate, he can make any style you want. Mike, you're right, single does sound like a straight but I much prefer it, much racier. Can't wait to hear what a V8 at 9k sounds like through a single!
  8. Single exit! Sounds soooo much better!
  9. No doubt bump into you at the pod sometime bud. If you're passing drop in, you know where I am.
  10. Glad it's back and OK(ish) :hyper:
  11. You don't want to match the exhaust manifolds with the heads exactly. Try to leave a difference with the manifold being a few mm bigger and offset to the top, helps stop reversion by reflecting the +ve pressure waves back. If you match exactly you will be down on power. Not such an issue with log type manifolds or turbo type cams but still good practice.
  12. Nice one mate, hope that's all then.
  13. No prob mate. Just lying there at the moment anyway.
  14. Ivan, if you need parts in a hurry I've got a complete HICAS with arms etc rack lying around you can have.
  15. Getting some parts laser cut for engine mounts, manifold flanges etc in the next few weeks. You want an extra set done or are you planning on going your own way on it? Will save a little on the cost getting them done all at once.
  16. Gutted for you mate, especially as you put so much work into it  Hope it turns up OK
  17. Think its probably called a VH50DE now  Things should start to happen again now. Been a bit of a delay due to Leon having some massive jobs come in and fill the workshop for about 3 months. Not really been able to get anything done in that time  Well apart from buying loads more daft parts to put on!
  18. Happy birthday Maaark, missed it yesterday. Will put a pink bow on that diff for ya when I drop it off!
  19. I've had the cams for the VH45 ground 70/30 30/70 @ 50 thou then installed the intake 20deg retarded. Means with it on cams run to spec, with it off there is less overlap for low speed performance.
  20. Screamer pipes are usually wastegate outlets on a turbo car. This is just bypasses all the silencers.
  21. No idea what to expect from it yet. Should be siginifcant as I'm running big overlap cams (70/30 30/70) on an NA. As long as the tuned pipe length is right it should be as good as you can get the exhaust system power-wise. Don't knwo if I'm just getting old, but sometimes wil be good to have the quite system for around town etc. Did feel like a bit of a cock with the old system on the turbo sometimes. Sounded awsome on the open road but a little embarrasing when old ladies dropped their shopping!
  22. Arrived today. Going to use it to bypass the silencers at high revs/load and run to an unsilenced tuned length tailpipe (prob side exit). Signal that switches it will also switch ECU maps as there will be one set up for each exhaust.
  23. Be very tight on a Z32 TT to get it all in. Unless you want it for monster track use, I'd improve the sump baffling and fit a pressure accumulator. Going to cost the best part of 1.5k to do it too.
  24. TVR owners always say that because they never make TVR's claimed figures!
