  1. I'm with topless on this. Ran some experiments on mine with 555's, greddy coolers, stock turbos and the air flow into the engine on high revs actually drops off past about 15psi as the compressors get inefficient. Does feel more puncy in mid-range at ~17 but IMO not worth the extra risk of detonation at high revs due to increased charge temps.
  2. Mark, I've got a diff you can have if you want bud, drop me a line.
  3. Aw shucks, thanks guys! Just a shame I'm such a :xxx: too :D
  4. No Probs Shaun.
  5. Nice one mate, neat little unit ain't it.
  6. Blimey, didn't realise there was this many interested. Will be able to produce a 'kit' including mounts, manifolds, intakes etc to install if anyone wants one. It does all add up mind!! Dry sump system alone is probably ~£1.5k all told
  7. Now you just need some of These too :)
  8. Didn't realise you'd decided to go ahead with it last time we spoke, nice one
  9. I've been using a tech edge WBo2 for years with a Bosch LSU sensor. Always been to within 0.2AFR of dyno shop ones so happy with it.
  10. Yeah, did some mapping on it last week as it never got finished before the last engine blew and the low speed driveability was awful (big cams, no VTC, dual intake, low compression, big turbos). Is very quick on boost though, haven't had it on the dyno yet with new engine.
  11. It's not too bad actually. If you want to go the whole hog you need to take the dash out to remove the internal matrix - it's surprisingly heavy.
  12. Actually, that is pretty nice, cheers. CF saves painting it too!
  13. Cheers, Kinda pricey, but its the only one I really like the look of and I can't be arsed cutting big holes in mine and tyring to find low pressure areas etc.
  14. Anyone know where I can get one / how much please?
  15. That's the thing though, it won't launch well with the setup I'll have. It's configured for anti squat and stability. Not remotely bothered about turning heads, I'm only building this as a toy, as long as its fun I don't care if I get outrun by a montego.
  16. If you are after pace I/C give me a buzz. They were never happy with the design as they were sort of done by SE and can be improved a lot apparently.
  17. I might be up for it if mine's ready. Not really my thing but could be a laugh. Will be rubbish on the 1/4 though as suspension is definately track oriented.
  18. About £150 including all the fittings I think. Not using a take off at all as it's for a dry sump system so fed straight off the pump, original engine location is blanked. Don't think pace make sandwich plates but I can ask Neil if you want?
  19. Boomin, I might have it off you, what sort of cost?

Hi Nad, As said above, chip does not affect boost levels, but definately don't run more that 15psi on your setup. I'd get a boost controller if I were you, it is safer and the response is much better too.
  21. Yes, you can get to them. The one on the end of the rack with the pinion on it is really really awkward because of the pipes etc in the way. I found it was easiest to use a longer bolt first to catch the retainer then put the standard one in once you've pulled it up. The other one is really easy. Not sure how much difference they make as I did loads of stuff at the same time, but anything that takes some slack out can only be a good thing.
  22. Jay, it's most likely the clutch slave cyl has gone rather than the pipe burst, MJP can do a seal kit for it for a few quid and its easy to remove / replace.
  23. Back on the road, I thought it would be months ago to be honest. Been loads of delays with getting parts made, stuff getting lost in the post, re-design of parts etc etc. Kinda resigned myself to missing the summer this year so maybe October - November time. There's actually not much left to do now - Exhaust manifolds, intake runners, air boxes and drysump pump / alternator mounts, make a rad that fits. Just needs wired, plumbed and mapped after that. Good idea Rich - It'll be hidden anyway. All Pace stuff is top quality to be honest. They're a really, really impressive company.
