With all the crap thats gone on of late.
im with most of the above, if they don't effect my life, bye bye, and if a bit of abuse over the net makes you want to get stressed and kick the shit out of someone, then maybe you need to sell the computer, cos sure as night follows day, life is gonna throw some real shite at you sometimes and you had better have a more controlled response than baseball batting someone, when i say ive been there done it and bought the tea shirt, i MEAN really been there, so maybe ive grown up and realised stress is not something you catch, get given or have to go and find, its part of how you react to life, lol and if someone typing words at you cos they want to act the hero gets to you, get your computer on ebay  and mac doesn't matter how big hard or daft we are sometimes, a ****er with a knife/gun whatever is not gonna give a shit that he ruins and changes your families lives forever, no good having an epitaph of "shame, but wasn't he a hard *******" ;) and to put life in perspective, my auntie has just rang me to say my cousin died last night (been ill for a while) and my cousins daughter is getting married NEXT WEEK, ive not seen any of them for quite a while, but does make you realise what matters and what don't

sat nav
ok thanks m8:) was begginning to drive me bonkers:(

sat nav
anyone clued up on these? ive installed one and it needs to be hooked to a speed pulse so being an import the delimiter is ok, but when i wire it up via one of the wires that goes to the delimiter i lose speedo and steering is heavy, i have read all the posts re hicas and speedo, but cant understand why tapping into that wire would cause it, my question is for anybody in the know, is it possible to fit another speed pulse?? ive tried moving to the other wire in the delimiter but then the sat nav wont calibrate ie doesnt know where i am via the gps, going to move it back to the other wire today, as i didnt calibrate it on that as i assumed cos the speedo etc had gone it was wrong wire lol if no one knows my next post could be in the articles for sale

makes me sick
parents parents parents i have 3 teenagers and a 12 year old, and luckily (fingers crossed) they havn't given us an ounce of grief, the two eldest have their own flat together now, id like to think it's because of the way we brought them up, but more important because of the respect they have for other people, i don't kid myself they don't do typical things that teenagers do when they are with their mates, but they have always known the shit they would be in if they took the wrong route:( and if they had brought the above kind of crap to our house then the police would be the least of their worries, most of us have a dig at the police vias this forum, but they are the first you think of ringing, AND id like to think my kids could seek their help if needed, i would not have a coppers job for a gold clock, when i was a lad (lol see the post re the old days) i wouldn't dare say boo, kids nowdays hurl vile abuse at anyone in authority, but if i thought my kids did the same then they best be ready for the consequences how many of you look out your windows and think i wonder where the parents are, no chance on this earth can the coppers sort out every problem when parents encourage their "kids" to live their lives like it and of course if the goverment made cash available to police all areas it would help:( as mac says punishment at school etc never done the majority of us any harm, all you would get out of the shits now would be "i'll get me dad to come and sort you out" and in most cases they would, pity they're not as quick to sort out what their kids are doing before blaming everyone else:(

Help
as someone who has only bought stuff through the traders and via a trader groupbuy, i'm all for supporting them, but the logic of these new rules defeat me??? yep i can understand if a subscribed member advertises a group buy for something a trader already sells, and even if it was something they sold, and the price was slightly higher, i would still use one of the traders because of the service they offer but if say Dave Marley offered a group buy on a product not offered, why would the GB be restricted to 5?? as your rules are then forcing members to pay higher prices or am i missing something???

i would be so upset if the man u coach went over the cliff :( . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ESPECIALLY if there was spare seats  red nose fergie would still complain, the cliff was the wrong colour, the coast guard was biased, giggs couldnt go if it was a friendly cliff, and knowing everyones luck forlan would be the driver and miss the bottom

Sgt C what did you pay for that interior m8?? been looking at all kinds of options lately, and think getting it retrimmed is the way to go, i was even thinking of buying a complete car and swopping it all, but im still ending up with someone elses choice that way ta;) (sorry for jumping your post davido140)

one, two, DRIVE!!
personally mine is in drive all the time, never use 1-2 overdrive is also switched on all the time, although your really supposed to when pottering round town have overdrive off, then hard driving ie motorways dual carriageways etc overdrive on, ive always found with overdrives if you keep messing with them it increases fuel £££££
-
Auto box problem
try the cheap option first m8 drop the oil AND pan, clean the filter, in case dirt has collected in there over the years, worth a go as long as he hasn't ragged the arse out of it trying to get it moved;)

How Much Insurance
at 17 if you can get insurance for under £1500 m8 i would check the braille dots on the policy (for the mr2 that is)

BOV question #24a
no expert, but i would think when flooring all air/power is being used, so it will only dump when coming down and then dumping excess or maybe i talk b*****s

How Much Insurance
maybe worth looking at a classic sports car/convertible type of car less powerful but unique looking, and i know it's hard to look forward but building up a good insurance record at your age WILL pay off;)

How Much Insurance
lol if you believe many on here the mr2 is ok for kids/hairdressers and mothers  again its a powerful car m8, not something i would be buying one of my lads as a first car, i can understand what your after, as my lad is already looking to get rid of his fiesta, as it aint his idea of cool, as above why not do one of the advanced driving things first, they not only teach you to respect power etc, but can knock a few hundred from insurance as i said i understand where your coming from, so honestly not sure what to suggest, again at least you have the sense to ask the questions first, you would not believe the people who ask advice AFTER they have bought their first bit of trouble
