  1. its free to LIST it but not free to sell;) ie at the end you will get billed a % of the final selling price if you put a reserve on it you should see the price they will want if it reaches it, of course you could withdraw it a day or two early,;) cancel all bids and only pay the listing (or not if its thursday)
  2. not gonna help your problem, but why didn't you just remove the item for sale, and change your password as you say you've only lost access since contacting ebay??
  3. also once you have fitted the delimiter the kph clock will then read mph, ie if your doing 70 mph it will show as 70 kph
  4. actually overdrive is a 4th gear so when on the motorway thats when you generally use overdrive, to get a higher gear, pottering round town it's off, theres loads of other times when to use and not, so your better searching and decide yourself
  5. download the fixblast.exe from here m8 and see what results you get, then will point you towards the worm fixes http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.blaster.worm.removal.tool.html although if it IS the worm, and you run the removal tool, and then go back on the net without running the fixes you will end up back where you started so grab the fixes from there as well or better still here http://help.msu.edu/virus/blaster.html as herman says above m8, what message are you getting?? if your getting a countdown then it IS the worm
  6. the worms are deffo still about m8 but i don't think thats friday's problem as he said it was disconnecting not rebooting? although reading his first post again, he does say closes all windows etc so i presume he means rebooting, have you run the worm fixes m8??
  7. if your on broadband dialer spyware won't effect you m8 not sure why your spyware software aint finding it though? try spyware blaster and pest patrol
  8. type in overheating in the search m8 LOADS of old posts re airlocks/rad caps/sensors etc etc best to eliminate those first
  9. i certainly wouldn't be giving the AA £250 for summat they know jack about ask how many forum members that have had an AA call out, if they guy that came knew anything about a z also have you checked what they DON'T check??? brakes  compression  oil leaks  air con and thats just the main things that jump off the page at you yes get somone who knows what the shit they are talking about look at many, you will learn a lot yourself and KNOW when the right one comes along, if your worried about having to spend cash i wouldn't buy one, leave your cash in the bank to earn interest, but if you want something that gives you buzz and a smile everytime you drive it then keep looking
  10. yes i saw that the other day m8:( the back looks like a kiddies toy car
  11. hey great:) no more leaning on the garden fence, and somewhere for the missus to put the tea and sandwiches so the dog don't get them:) then at night she can iron the clothes, i think all spoilers should have so many uses, just a pity that one IS ON THE CAR

lol i think grahar81 was asking you to bid on it, IT'S HIS
  13. i bought the medion pda (halfords) with sat nav for the missus does its job, before buying it she had never driven on a motorway and gave her the confidence to sort that, all the maps/speech come ready loaded so activate on your pc and its ready to use:) i then bought a the one from dixons (hp) which came with tom tom and in my opinion was a pile of shite, kept locking up, so changed memory cards and still the same, so to check it wasnt the car, i installed the above medion and it worked perfectly, tried everything with the tom tom and ended up taking it back, might have just been my bad luck, but if you read the various forums theres numerous problems, again it maybe the bad are the ones being talked about as for the tom tom out performing the factory fitted jobs, ive just fitted a becker sat nav, and it is not only gps, but speed pulse as well, so no problems about losing signal which gps do, and recalculating is instant, the pda's are excellent pieces of kit for the money, but don't expect them to perform the same as a decent sat nav system THEY DON'T
  14. i fitted the speed delimiter m8, and it works spot on speedo is accurate, testing speedo with road angel, its near enough the same
  15. Thats cos if you reply it makes them feel loved and important, and get a buzz which is summat they'll never get driving a toymotor
  16. it has 4 wheels and an engine, if not it could be a toyota well you did ask for the obvious :p
  17. "What are the legal responsibilities of the housing association?" exactly the same as if they were council houses you AND the neighbours need to contact the H/A to tell them of any problems one of their tenants is causing, and where possible collect evidence, if the H/A don't know about it, they can't be held responsible, and after that see timmy turbos suggestion ;)
  18. http://ps2drives.x-pec.com/?p=statistics
  19. an expensive option m8, but maybe buy a gps radar while your getting it sorted, as it has a speedo on it (more accurate than the car speedo) not entirely wasted as it will serve a good purpose even when you get it sorted, and just plugs in the cig lighter;) (road angel or similar)
  20. why the **** david james is england keeper??? liverpool sold him cos he was crap, villa sold him cos he was crap, west ham couldnt afford his £5 wages, and he's now at man city ENOUGH SAID
  21. it seems if the trials work then "A national rollout covering all 18,500 MOT centres is set for some time in late 2004." as i said i would think it will piss of the garages more than drivers is it going to make a guy without an mot get one???? the majority who look after their cars probably won't be effected, apart from an mot will probably take longer and be done properly, cos big bruvver maybe watching  how much do you want to bet the price of an mot goes up though :nono:
  22. yes m8 hence i said SOON, its not only bad news for the motorist, but the garage computers will be linked to dvla, so they will enter your reg number/chassis and then the computer will tell them if the mot can go ahead, then emissions/mileage will be officially logged, i wouldnt have thought there would be anything to stop the ministry sitting outside an mot station with a laptop monitoring what the garage is doing ie time etc, we only need a chip in the car now to say your allowed to start up and drive off:(
  23. from the dvla site Vehicle Registration Document/Certificate (V5 or V5C) or New Keepers Supplement (V5/2 or V5C/2) - green section of the V5 or V5/C and complete V62. The V5/2 and V5C/2 can only be used for up to two months after you acquire the vehicle. further to taxing the car, my missus went to tax her car and came back with the v11, i said i thought the post office should have taken it off her, so rang dvla, and they said no, as its all barcoded now, so a quick swipe and the info is relayed instantly onto computer, another step closer to ALL your info being available to the police etc, only mot to go and that won't be long
