  1. i think that little green bit is only valid for two months m8
  2. no tax on your car does NOT make your insurance void, if it did you would be asked "is your car taxed etc" and when you sorn a car you can carry on with your insurance, ie how many people with cars like a zx only use it in the summer, so they only tax it when they use it, but continue with their insurance (obviously) sorry to make that clear, generally the registered keeper should insure the car in their name, but tax is not anything to do with insurance
  3. not sure m8, i just assumed they were a lot more availbale now, ive seen 2-3 people this week saying they have bought swb, but ive never really took a lot of notice, so i guess your probably right and they may have been searching a while for the right car;)
  4. only 1 at home now he's 12 two teenagers they have a flat of their own, and another 19 year old living with his girl friend and in your position now m8 as they've just had a baby, stayed once over night, absolute heaven to hand her back, it's great now, my lads room is like dixons, ie xbox-ps2/gamecube pc with his own broadband, ipod, dvd player and recently got his own sky+ oh and a rear projection telly, no he aint spoilt as we buy it, then this week we have to buy him clothes to go back to school rockports £100, trainees £70, lol did i say it was great  seriously m8, make the most of it now, however bad it seems it will pass too quick, and before you know where you are first day of school, and as im sure your missus and rich will vouch for, you'll meet the kids who have been dragged up, and are knocking bets for slopping out in the future, hard work, love and being interested in their future will make you proud and not waiting for a v.o. oh did i mention it was EXPENSIVE lol BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY ;)
  5. welcome to the forum mate there are plenty of 2 seaters to be had in the uk, many probably dont list them as 2 seaters, it will say swb (short wheel base) so forget getting someone to import you one specially, look at the well looked after versions on this forum first:)
  6. i was just going to post when davido140 has said the same 6-7 months ago i would have said go for it, but its deffo a buyers market and for 5-6 grand you can get a really nice one from this forum, im not knocking 1990's lol cos mine is, but i was lucky VERY low mileage and excellent condition, is his standard?? if so AT THE MOMENT it seems expensive, but as many on here will tell you, they would rather pay good money for a good 'un, rather than be left with next years crufts winner
  7. the bootloader is made by the same people that used to make the action replays m8, and speaking to a m8 who is well clued up on them, he reckons cd or dvd they won't work:( since they made chipping of ps2's illegal and the guy got jailed, that scene has gone very quite;)
  8. yep just trying the lazy way first not gonna drive it anyway, just going to sit and hold the wheel, after that standard wheel lol thanks for your trouble m8,

absolute *****cks m8, don't worry about it, maybe they were worn especially after that mileage, but it was up to HIM to investigate the car, as for fraud it doesn't come into a case like this, at worst its trades description, or selling an item, knowing it was not fit for the purpose it was sold for, BUT he hasn't got that option as your not a trader, and as far as your concerned, when the car left you, and while you had it, it was road worthy, and i assume you thought it was A1 ?? i would expect a 12-13-14 year old car to have worn parts, lol don't we all know it, but as someone mentioned buyer beware, or for a car that age BE AWARE

all the above are right m8, he doesn't have any legal redress to you be careful what you say in emails m8, he could be saving them and maybe use at a later date;)
  13. ok i'll try to make this understandable i ordered the boss from mjp to retain the hicas and cruise, and brilliant service:) ordered a momo evo from larkspeed, again here within 2 days, but when i opened it they had sent the millenium, so i sent it back and got the evo back today, but the small one as they had no 350's in stock, so rather than wait i grabbed what they had, sorry for all the waffle but not sure if it makes a difference, ive fitted the boss, but cant fit the horn that came with the boss, which the hicas and horn plugs into, the reason being it protrudes to much, so when you fit the evo centre cap, it presses the horn all the time i assume that the horn that comes with the boss also is for cruise control? im not bothered about that, but am worried about the hicas, the light didnt come on, so does that mean its working properly? so at the moment behind the steering wheel there was 2 plugs one obviously the horn, is the other the hicas or cruise? 'cos at the moment its unplugged as nowhere to go and i THINK the boss from mjp is meant to fit with a momo, that doesnt have a centre cover ie the millenuim and lastly as mac said the smaller wheel does block some of the dials, speedo is not a problem as ive got a road angel, i suppose i should have been patient and waited for the 350:( thanks
  14. takemetothepub lol you know jack about me, my lifestyle nothing, but i don't do intimidation, i asked a question or do you suggest i hide under the bed waiting for the answer anyway spoke to mac and i think we both understand each other, so i don't have to move this week
  15. and the last two posts prove what???
  16. Clarkey is right, it reverts to bitmap when your temp files are full of SHITE lol
  17. cheers for that m8:) that IS my main moan with my z:)
  18. no winners in this one:( the forum has lost a long time member over words and now looks like he is gonna end his obvious love with his car, hopefully completely unrelated? but sad all round
  19. lol you learn something every day, i went looking for that cheers m8;)

lol how long is a piece of string if you havnt got the bigger oil cooler on your box then id say don't even with it the box will get hot, how far are you going/motorway/minor roads/lots of up hill/changing gears all ifs and buts m8, but if you've got an alternative i'd say don't;)
  23. thats an outrageous statement:( . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .they would just get a head transplant on the nhss
  24. if your fitting them under the bonnet, this is useless lol but i found it an excellent help when i did mine;) http://www.300zx-mods.co.uk/BOVS.htm
  25. yes m8, me missus has a pda/gps the one from halfords and excellent it is, my missus had NEVER driven on a motorway, and was a bit wary, so after buying her that she has now been to shropshire twice (from lancs) so for that reason alone a good investment:) ive got a road angel , so didnt really want anymore stuff on the dash lol, and just had a laser jammer fitted, so wanted the sat nav to be in where me stereo went, i was gonna mess with it today but to much footie on sky lol so when i get them all sorted i need to find a copper with a laser gun, and get lost so i can use the sat nav to get home lmao
