i think you must be getting mixed up m8, you can't have been charged, as you CAN'T be questioned after being charged, so as your solicitor says say F*** ALL ;)

lol but they ARE allowed to tow your car away, which is a bit arse about tit 'cos if it goes awol you'll deffo think its theft

not strictly true m8, IF you know your car is being driven and fail to disclose who THEN YES you are liable for prosecution, to say you must always be aware of who is driving your car throws up to many ifs and buts, ie your on holiday and someone in the house uses the car, someone takes your keys at work, or someone takes the car at night etc etc one thing i find strange and hard to understand, is that he said they came to his house to charge him??? to charge someone with an offence, you have to be interviewed under caution and recorded, and then a custody sgt' has to decide the next course of action and whether there is enough to continue, we would be right in the shite if the bobby on the beat had the final say how to proceed, hence why pace was set up????

they can only charge you with this if you know who was driving and are failing to disclose it, phughson, i assume you told the police all this?? if they do take it to court make sure your mate/s are prepared to go as witnesses re phoning you etc, i can't honestly see the police taking it much further, although you say they turned up at your house and charged you?? do you mean they took you to a police station and charged you?? or did they caution you?
  5. and as far as i know the rspca is called the royal society for the prevention of cruelty to animals, which one do you use??? i THINK every man and his dog calls it the gt4 including the owners club;)
  6. here m8;) http://www.aus300zxclub.com/tech/Alarm.htm

  10. no expert but i would prefer the mesh than the chances of something coming through and wiping out one of the rads, i would have THOUGHT that the minute you slow or stop the mesh would enable the heat to exit a lot quicker? maybe the mesh at speed will act as a solid wall, but what driving conditions in this country will ever make that a problem, ie 2 hours doing over a ton, never gonna happen:( if its good enough for one of these;)
  11. lol then i wouldn't want to buy the car, just be a time wasting tyre kicker "could i see the car as in the photo please"
  12. must admit, thats one of my pet hates people who kids/wives on photos of cars theyre selling WHAT FOR?????????? do they think it will sell better=NO do they think people will be impressed=NO do they think the car will look better=NO does it put people off=imo YES
  13. not sure why people keep saying change the filter in the box the pickup filter is wire mesh, so as long as it doesn't get damaged is a lifetime part, deffo clean it when changing the fluid
  14. nothing to say it was you m8;)
  15. it does give a certain error on the laser (cant remember which now) BUT if they lasered you it switches itself off after giving you the chance to slow, so they could stop you to look, but if it was a spot check and they found it, nothing they can do, (it opens my garage doors i aint fitted yet lol)
  16. for 3 weeks after i had mine fitted i never got a bleep lol then the local paper TOLD everyone where the lasers were gonna be, so of course i had to go and "test" it, the bleeping shit me, but certainly works:)
  17. not as hefty as getting caught doing 100+;)
  18. target lrc 100 is the latest m8, not cheap but the dogs you can also connect the two together http://www.radar-detectors-uk.com/Special_Deals.htm
  19. sorry disagree, who wants to sit in the car like a lemon for 2 minutes everytime you've been on a run, get home after 200 mile drive, dying for a piss, opps no have to wait until turbos cool, or get to motorway services and kids want to go, no roderick  you have to wait, also some of the worst damage is done to engines and turbos, when first starting up, so every day BEFORE i go out at the press of a button i warm the car for a least a couple of minutes, yes technically they are illegal, but not in my drive or garage they're not, just my two pence worth and each to their own;)
  20. mine was the aviatal 4400 m8, at the time it was £400 but had all kinds of extras fitted, so deffo not that for the alarm and remote start, he also fitted a laser diffuser a month or so ago, and sorted me sat nav, so deffo knows his stuff, not to say he's better than other alarm fitters, but always been spot on here, and personally i wouldnt use anyone else,:) ring them for a quote m8 http://www.speedsound.com/caraudio.asp?pg=products&specific=jnlqcrise
  21. ???? it eats 300zx's ok maybe it does, BUT then he says he will take a z ??? reason he's getting rid he has got a wife 2 kids and 2 dogs but HE WANTS A Z??????????????????
  22. try these m8:) fitted 4 alarms for me now, 2 of them have remote start, his work and finish was A1, was recently featured in max power and got rave reviews, he will travel to you anywhere in the country, dont expect to ring today and he'll be there tomorrow though, the remote start alarm i had fitted, also had window closure, panic alarm, turbo timer, frost start (ie car starts if temp drops below zero if set) pager/meter timer and loads more http://www.ssi-caralarms.com/index.html
  23. mine is low mileage and also had wear, as you say the sun plus if the same person has drove it for a few years, they tend to hold the wheel in the same place, i swopped mine for a momo, and the feel is A LOT better
  24. just seen Kevin bigleys (hostage) plea to tony blair what the hell must his family be going through,:( not sure what blair can do?? as according to them they have no women hostages, the yanks have, but theres no way on this earth bush is gonna release any, especially after two americans have died, wouldn't look good to the public if they released them to free a brit, but two of there own have died
  25. like any car m8 you can generally tell if its REAL high mileage, unless someones gone to bother of replacing everything which i doubt ie steering wheel wear pedal wear, door handle wear, seat wear (although most z's have some) generally look at the common sense things m8;)
