this could be total *****cks, but for about a month ive been running a "test" using ie and opera, and the amount of spyware ie lets through comapred to opera is ie=shitloads opera=none again there is certain things opera wont let you do, so you have to fire up ie more and more people are trying these alternative browsers, so hopefully ie (microsft) will soon get the message, that the punter won't take the shit they keep releasing (untested until us mugs get it)

nothing personal taken m8, my 2nd name aint clifford lol i can only go on past experience (not had the alarm i linked to) but had two of the avitals fitted (one to my Z)with remote start, window closure, paging, anti-hijack, tea making lol etc etc and 12 months on no problems, he installed a toad on my wifes new car last week, so best one for the car at the time, and as i said the install is one of the most important parts of the alarm, and i certainly wouldn't be paying someone extra for possible problems later on, shit if people did that nissan would make a fortune im no installer, so give them a ring for the best advice, if an alarm is crap they WILL tell you;)

as vijay says m8 don't skimp on the fitting, nothing like a good clean tidy install and trouble free, try these guys, alarmed all my cars and never had an ounce of trouble, AND knows his stuff, for that bit extra your gonna pay for an alarm this one is supplied and fitted at your home/work or if you want all the bells and whistles they do some boss alarms;) http://www.ssi-caralarms.com/products/matrix3.html

its not gonna break any speed records m8 but for 2 ton its cheap enough, deffo need to get some more memory as 256 to run xp :xxx: and laptop memory is a LOT cheaper than it was a year or two ago, so sounds ok;)

sorry in advance to the ladies BUT after this afternoons episode, "one lady owner" makes me run a mile someone tell me who thinks a ladies car is looked after???????????? back to this afternoon, i came in a for a few minutes, and parked my car across our drive, so next thing she goes out gets in her car (in the drive) and decides she is gonna reverse :eek: i heard my alarm going off so opened the landing window, and shes sat in her seat door open looking at over a ton of metal and said "i forgot it was there" :mac1: now you open our front door, the car is about 6-7 foot away, she had to look at mine to get in hers, so i said whether you forgot it was there or not, do you not use mirrors? so if someone had been walking across our path god help them :eek: she put a dent in it just below the filler gap, thank god for small mercys i sold her pajero last week, shit she could have wiped out the whole street cos they "stupidly walked in front of her" :rolleyes: one lady owner, YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!1

road angel is one of the best m8, especially combined with the subscription compared to others, BUT no one detector/gps will totally cover you against everything i've got the road angel and a laser jammer, and now am gonna buy the road pilot, well over a grands worth but for what it will save me if caught:( plus they will move car to car, so imo a good investment, or just stick a block of wood under the go faster pedal;)

the clifford will think the doors open if the dash light is on or if an interior light is on, who hard wired the road angel? could be a fault there, has someone just searched for a live and wired into it? also check if it has been fitted with an inline fuse, personnally i would remove the road angel and the stereo, and see what you get, then if ok refit them
