  1. no that toad is a fav with zx owners m8 only conflict really is if you decide to fit remote start, as that particular alarm wont arm until engine stops without some tweaking
  2. £255 is a good price m8, as a mate of mine fits them and he's ultra competative and he charges £275 (at your location) or £300 with the pager and Kevinc, no jap' wiring makes no difference;)
  3. i THINK what Sgt C is trying to say, is have you actually taken your car to the z centre for engine work??????? id love to hear Lukes answer to your request lmao
  4. lol my m8s got an rx7, and your not telling me its ECONOMICAL are you????? if you are you dont actually drive it but gaze at it lovingly through the window  EDIT just re-read, lol you meant the rx7 was the juice guzzler compared to the KA, thank god for that :o
  5. yes basically m8 (as long as the car is over 10 years old, and doesnt need an sva?) you also need to send the mot to register it, so mot will have number not displayed (usually chasis) and make sure you send the docs special delivery, and money to cover them returning the same way, better still if the local office is close?? take all the paperwork to them, and 72 hours later you can pick them up
  6. Mike i got this case from here, and it IS silent, ive got 3 comp's alongside each other, and the difference is excellent, only problem is the case is bloody heavy http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?NEX-BREEZ4
  7. umm 30 odd posts ago you were "blinded by the performance of a Z" now your driving a car that only stevie wonder could be impressed by  http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=188785#post188785
  8. he's doing what a lot do now, putting as many different things in the title as possible, so it shows up when people search ie nissan 300zx (not a porsche) although why they would think someone looking for one or the other would suddenly think oh yes i'll have that instead?? (though he does say he wants a swop)
  9. they would have to be more interesting m8;) as certain posts are as exciting as http://emptywebsite.com/
  10. if wit was shit you would be constipated  thats about as original as your 36 posts about dust caps
  11. yep but his is UNDERSTANDABLE crap, (this post may make no sense as you will have probably posted 12 times while im typing this) :nelson:
  12. i'd hate to see your idea of pain then
  13. have to agree with Bob the AI606 is a superb alarm had it fitted to 3 different cars now including the wifes present car and comes with loads of extras you can add on, and deffo recognized as cat 1 by insurance ive actually got the avital fitted to my Z which technically is not cat 1 because of the remote start, but has some superb toys including built in turbo timer, which allows you to arm and run the turbo timer together and again as Bob says the fitter you choose is almost as important as the alarm
  14. Agreed, if you value your car, then go for a known one ie rac no need to rely on the police as the rac do all the tracking and inform them/you if car is moved, if your one of those who swop the car every year etc may not be worth it, as it is car related and if you swop, you have to pay, or if you intend keeping the car for a good few years then a "lifetime" (or as long as you own it) subscription is available unlike the police:( they are monitored 24 hours a day, and unlike the police they return the car when found
  15. lol i had to laugh at one of the posts in there that if you turn up to look at a car in the same car, you must know what your looking for????? umm hello, "look ethel come and look, this chaps got a lada like ours, best not try to rip him off" ffs you did already by getting him there lmao :nelson:
  16. theres absolute bucket loads of internal aerials m8 like anything you get what you pay for, having recently installed a tv aerial the £20 one was shite, £80 100% better:) start at places like maplins etc

  22. you can buy all 4 series in this country for under £75 m8, i bought them before christmas for me lad;) lol theyre even cheaper now http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0002UUO8G/qid%3D1105663813/026-4480622-2678042
  23. see your confusing me now, WHAT 3 SLOTS
  24. so how do i open the bonnet to find all these goodies?? anyway still sounds like a load of *****cks to me, yes as much cool air as possible through the intercoolers is recommended, so this system i assume sprays directly into the intercoolers,? so that should mean it must be better to drive the Z in hard rain and get as much water in as possible,?? lol i shall have to think up a system like in the garden, to collect rain water and reuse it to spray when needed
