professional drivers are only allowed to drive for 4 hour periods and for only 9 in a 24 hour period, and 48 in one week, BECAUSE fatigue is recognized as one of our motorways biggest killers, so if you asking should a coach driver be stooped from driving if he is tired and about to take a coach load of kids on a possible killer trip, yes is the answer screaming kids can be ignored, unless your a neurotic mother, if they leap about it's a bit different, hence seat belts older people are required to take tests again, whether its enforced quickly enough is a different matter and arnt you more likely to come across more people strolling home in a village late at night?? i don't think a test that finds ANY alcohol in the blood is workable, but i reckon if you intend going for a drink, be it 1-2 or 22, then the car should stay at home, if i found a driver smelling of ale, after knocking someone in my family down, i wouldnt be asking "excuse me have you only had one"

well after a lot of stuttering the last week or so i finally got round to fitting Petes earthing kit, and Smithys pipes and lo and behold today the car has run like a dream, so one of the two things has cured it (touch wood) give it a good seeing to round the local roads, then an even harder seeing to down the motorway, and tested me heart coming off the motorway as i left the motorway at full tilt, there was an old chap about 70-80 CROSSING the slip road, i stood on the brakes as i checked my insurance and stopped about 5 yards in front of him, the funniest thing was he DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE ME lmao, so i was very impressed with the brakes and the car stopped in a straight line, a nice smell mind, so the cause of my stuttering (i assume) was either a leaking pipe or a bad earth, OR while i was fitting the earthing kit obviously i had the battery disconnected a while, would a the reset of the ecu have done it?? anyway for now one very happy bunny:)

Nelson MainFella, your right in some ways as SOME ****ers do use their dogs as macho image makers, and very sad lives they must lead, but i would say a dog is more predictable than any human, ive yet to see a dog shove a glass in someones face, or abuse another dog because it's different, or get drunk off it's face and and make a twat of itself lol etc etc i wouldn't dream of leaving our dog alone with my lads baby, however much i trust her, or walk up to someone elses dog and start teasing it if anyone comes to our house i put her away, as she IS unpredicable that way, but she is doing what comes natural and protecting her ground the rspca and the nspcc were formed to protect both from other humans not from dogs, how many dogs/animals will get thrown out or abused this christmas, BUT how many calls will the police get over the holidays about domestic violence/murders child abuse?? i can think of a lot of people i would rather put to sleep, before 99% of dogs, and that includes the macho idiots you mention;) as you say certain dogs are bred for protection etc and they need to have owners that understand that, and the next time someone gives your elderly Mum hassle maybe a touch of their own medicine would put them straight;)

i was worried about that m8, but went into my bank, and the right amount was paid in and transferred from a barclays bank account, and they said it was kosher, also i would have thought if they were trying to scam me, they would have picked it up at the earliest opportunity? strange some people, if it was me id want to see the car id paid so much cash for, as above i could have misdescribed it to hell, (as it happens they've got a nice car)

lol the complete opposite problem for me, i actually sold my missus's pajero on ebay auction ended, within minutes they contacted me to say did i want a deposit knowing the car was a bargain, i wasn't that bothered so a week later nothing, so i checked out her user name on ebay, and saw she was bidding on another, so mailed her and asked her to let me know if she didn't want it, i wasnt bothered, as typical a few locally have said said they wanted it, heard nothing until the end of the other auction, then they said money was in my bank, and sure enough two days later it was there now the fun and games, i think it appeared on a friday and they said they would get a haulage firm :rolleyes: to pick it up on the monday/tues/wed so that has gone, then yesterday dinner-time an email to say the guy was picking it up last night, gets to 8pm and i mailed and said if he aint here in half an hour, im off out, no reply, so this morning i mailed to say WHEN they come i want 24 hours notice, STILL nothing ive checked with my bank and bank transfer so everything is kosher, i just can't believe they havn't seen the motor, and paid the cash and two weeks later it is still here, and it wasnt just a few hundred, and the motor is no longer insured as i swopped her insurance to her other motor, starting to piss me off now, as everytime i ask her a question i get no reply as i also told her if some firm was picking it up i would still be sending the v5 to dvla, signed by me some people have either got more money than sense, or somethings going on? they do live over 200 hundred miles away, lol good mind to close me bank account and risk bad feedback :eek:

So, if the seller had claimed that it was in ‘excellent condition’ for example, then you might have been able to argue misrepresentation, im not sure misrepresentation would cover bhp, and would that alone make you buy the car? so i would say if you aint sure DON'T buy it

doesn't matter what rules/laws you bring in to stop nova dicks etc from being a menace, it aint gonna stop them, problem is saying leave them to do themselves in, is they usually take loads of innocent victims with them:( same as the way they keep going on about the new cameras in police cars instantly recognizing untaxed/insured cars, brilliant if they can get the twats of the roads, but do you seriously think if they are unisured they actually give a shit about being caught? in fact the minute they see a cop car now they know they are 99% sussed, so the chase is on. the only way i can see to get the cars off the roads is to instantly confiscate untaxed/uninsured and mot-less cars, but that aint gonna stop car thieves, cos if they pinch your car and it's not yet reported, then its not gonna show on a vr camera:( so only answer is the death penalty for car robbers :shock:
