heskey? he gave a free kick away end of penalty miss, 12 yards out £40,000 a week against a 3ft nothing keeper, why does mr albi keep taking them? albi corner kick taker, albi free kick taker, albi penalty kick taker 2-0 england had it won:( actually i agree heskey shouldnt have come on, but sitting back trying to defend against the french, yeah right:(
  3. cheers m8 will keep my eyes open, but bbc teletext page 112 is still saying 10pm??, so will check at 10pm as the footy finishes:)
  4. at the MOMENT, i wouldn't recommend norton 2004 2003 is a lot more stable, 2004 takes over your machine and is a nightmare to get shut of, for those running spyware etc try this as well, you WILL be surprised how much crap it finds (run a deep scan) http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10045910.html?part=69274&subj=dlpage&tag=button
  5. AT THE MOMENT i still love me jag, got it out this week after being away all winter, and couldn't believe how smooth it was after 6 months of the zx, obviously not the instant power of the z top gear tonight 10pm is supposed to be featuring an xjs, so will watch with interest to see if they slaughter it
  6. that finds posts with abbreviations a nightmare to read?? so much so i don't bother with a lot, the occasional lol or btw is easy to read every 2nd line of roflmao, pmsl roflmfao etc etc has anyone actually rolled on the floor while in front of their computer? or pissed their pants while posting?? do you use them that often you start saying lol in the pub?? the sell forum or traders forum are probably the two where no one uses them and they are easy to read i now expect a string of replys from the ffs, roflmao brigade, don't worry as i said i don't read them
  7. yes with the torque m8 6 litres is not enough have a smell of the dipstick m8, it will smell burnt if its been slipping/overheating, i doubt you've done enough to knacker it;)
  8. make sure you dont put TO MUCH in though, as it will cause as much damage as not enough, best to warm the engine/box up, ie through the gears/park/n for about two minutes, then check it, top up a bit at a time and keep repeating the process in the morning m8 check the cold level, and you will probably find it's low as the torque will have taken its level
  9. if you have completly drained the auto system m8 including torque converter youve not put enough back in, your a couple of litres short AT LEAST
  10. the simple stuff IF its just the one tap, is a replacement tap valve at the massive cost of £1-50, but as he's not replied, he may have his finger stuck in a hole
  11. when you say nothing coming out of the TAP is that single?? is water not coming from any of the taps in the house? if your getting water from the other taps, its probably the valve in the tap if it's all your taps ignore me lol
  12. petrol prices just announced are going down, as world oil prices have dropped not bad hey up 9p down 2p
  13. funny that 'cos most of the england flags are made at a company called mrflag.com, IN WALES

"This is an absolute Bargin at this price, I phoned my local motor factors and they said they are 27.50 plus VAT." IF i needed one i reckon id nip down me local motor factors, cos with his £20 buy it now price and £3 postage it aint much of a bargain
  15. we probably got onto smoking, by people not reading fully what has been posted, i do smoke but don't drink, my point was ive never seen two smokers kicking the crap out of each other after a night of smoking, ive never seen a smoker go home and kick the crap out of his wife and family after a night of smoking, or because of a packet of cigs go and crash his car killing other people, all the talk of passive smoking, if i took the family out for a night out and were none smokers, i have the option of walking out of a pub/club we may not get the same option/choice about being stabbed by a drunk, or run over by someone who is incabable of driving thats not to say i would go and sit in my lads room and smoke, or go to someone else's house and smoke, back to the cash generated by smokers at the moment any goverment doesn't give a toss how many people pack in 'cos they just up the price of cigs for the remaining smokers and finally getting back to mr go slow/never do anything wrong, as a couple have said most of us drive zx's, a high performance car, and the reason people moan about cameras is because they are NOT sited in areas where they are supposed to kill speed, but in areas that will generate cash, i for one will stop moaning about cameras when i see them removed from ie motorways and placed in blackspot areas
  16. if the non-smoking brigade get there way, smoking in your car maybe the only place left soon:( watching one of those documentaries the other night, it was stated that drunks etc cost hospital out patients one and half a billion a year, thats not drink related illnesses, just drunken fights/accidents etc, im not sure if im one of the few who feels some symphathy towards the police on friday/saturday nights etc, as i wouldnt have their job for a gold clock, as ive got teenagers i'd like to think if they were in trouble when out there would be a decent police force to be ready to step in, so many reported cases of kids being attacked/shot/stabbed etc must be showing me age, but im sure i couldn't be doing with drinking in pubs nowdays, lol talk about off topic but if smoking costs the health service xxx amount how much does drink etc cost??
  17. you cant blame the goverment for stupid prosections like the nursery nurse getting done for eating an apple, each police force answers to the council, or the governing police department, and not all councils are labour, far from it lol drive a z and not exceed some speed limits, a bit like buying an all singing and dancing computer and running it in 16 colours, the original post in this thread is a bit like that advert "i don't do politics" so if your tyre bursts dont post, its your own fault, if your engine blows up dont post, its your own fault if your likely to do anything that has a consequence DONT POST
  18. ok cheers m8, i'll assume its the same reason why they want it plugged in for sky+ had sky for *** years lol and never bought a movie yet, but subscribed to the wrestling for the lad a few times, another "feature" of sky+ is if you book a movie, and 7 days later you havnt watched it, it is then deleted from the hard drive and you don't pay, so they must know what your up to  i have recorded the wrestling to dvd for him, just makes me wonder if they could stop that??
  19. 10 day auction m8, i assume its finished??
  20. actually ebay is one of the best places, if you follow all the rules of car buying m8, ie obviously most people would not buy a car without seeing it so look before bidding, they make a great show of stating "it's a legally binding bid" but on the same vein if the car is not described truthfully then you have every right to walk away, as safe as importing a car you've never seen, if its to far to take look, get them to send photos of everything you want to see, if they won't don't bid, again if you havn't been able to look before bidding, when you go to buy if it's not as described WALK far better a bit of bad feedback than to buy a "dog" would you buy a car from this forum without all the info?? no difference
  21. how did it go m8?? success i hope;)
  22. anyone got it? been looking at it for ages, but some good deals about now so decided to bite the bullet and order, can now put the old diggy box in my lads room stop him keep asking for it to be turned over, and the moving is free, as part of the package questions i know the sky+ still is "supposed" to be plugged into the phone, but when they move my old diggy box into his room, is it still supposed to be plugged in? if so, my lad has his own phone line/broadband, so can it go into his line as its a different phone number to ours? if the answers to that is yes i must plug into our phone line, can i just run an extension to his room until the engineer has been and gone? the sky+ states you can download stuff from the h/d to an external source, so if i wanted to take stuff straight to a dvd recorder will it be macro enabled?? or will it just be box office stuff and lastly cos it pauses live telly, can i help england win euro 2004 by pausing rewinding and then ring sven up to tell him whats about to happen lmao
  23. media is out in japan now approx $15 but first ones are going to be +r's or ram so not worth touching yet, end of the year will see a big rush of stuff produced, verb' are VERY soon to be releasing dual-layer media;) even more interesting and better to wait and see, is that pioneer have demonstrated dual-layer burning using the pioneer ao6, all with a firmware upgrade, whether they release it or decide to make it new hardware only is deffo going to be down to how much ££££ they can make (look also for pioneer ao9)
  24. lol i went and bought a few things from halfords yesterday and it was priced at £36, when i got the receipt i thought they'de cocked up so obviously not:rolleyes: to thin?? lol it's in now
