  1. I've got a spare PS pot to practice on - any use?
  2. Just suck the fluid out with a syringe till you get to the bottom of the pot. Disconnect the lines (a small amount of fluid will come out). When done reconnect and refill.
  3. The engine oil cooler for UK specs (21305-37P00) is larger than the JDM and US cars. It is sold in the US as a Nismo part: https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nismo-jdm-oil-cooler-nissan-300zx-z32-21305-37p00_p_6127.php The power steering cooler is NLA.
  4. Chris, the pipework runs above the crash bar and below the bumper. I would just use cable ties to keep everything in place.
  5. The early years of production '89-'90 more cars were exported than for domestic. '91 was about equal (Brian Long book) As far as I know engine numbering were independent of country/market/model and just counted up for NA and TT engines as they came of the engine assembly line. The ECU would change but the engine mechanicals would be the same. It would be good to get some engine numbers of early JDMs to see if they are different to the format in the TSB above numbers above.
  6. Re soft valves - engines that may be affected have stamped engine numbers lower than VG30-777599 for NA's and VG30-619550 for TT's (according to Nissan's NTB93-105 bulletin). Some background information for the curious: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/main/view/960673/Soft-valves.html http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/main/view/916703/Nissan-Soft-Valves--Ive-been-working-on-putting-my-TT.html
  7. With respects to the WA - Parliament's MP's from all sides rejected it three times. The WA was (and still is) a dreadfull deal (even without the implications of the never-ending backstop for the whole of the UK). The WA was pretty much dictated to the UK by Brussels and any compromise was almost entirely on the UK's side during negotiations (if you could call them that). The WA is full of one-sided articles. This summarizes the top 40: https://blogs.spectator.co.uk/2018/12/the-top-40-horrors-lurking-in-the-small-print-of-theresa-mays-brexit-deal-2/
  8. I rather think that democracy in this country is falling apart. As to what the remain/leave split is after 3 years, well the next GE will almost certainly be fought on remain/leave party lines so we will see then.
  9. Do they understand the Target2 liabilities their country has - they would certainly need a sense of humour if that blows up.
  10. Looks like you could use SS fixings with something like Tef-Gel which would mean that the risk of the fixings rusting is removed. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tikal-Tef-Gel-Anti-Corrosion-Gel-10ml-Tube-Brush/153630802057
  11. Useful to know. BTW the marking on the bolt head in your picture is A2-70 which is stainless steel.
  12. I'll play - Rear Bumper Fasteners.
  13. That may be so, but how can you ever make a decision if you held back because of the fear of unintended consequences? The other thing to point out here is that we haven't actually left so no one knows what will actually happen.
  14. If you are not informed enough how will you know your decision is the least destructive? There are positives and negatives to both remain and leave.
  15. Yes, based on the things I wanted the UK to have from leaving the EU. You may not agree with them, but they were mine alone to make. Given that the next GE will almost certainly be a referendum in all but name on staying or leaving the EU will you vote?
  16. Wecome to the Club Alex! Remember that UK spec OEM rear wheels are 8.5J compared to the 7.5J JDM. Put your UK spec's VIN into the search field here to get the build date and factory specs. http://gtr-registry.com/en-300zx-z32-uk-europe.php
  17. Did they give you a printout of the alignment angles they achieved?
  18. Which préfecture does he live in? Looks like some are a lot better than others in processing applications.
  19. What type of upheaval is he expecting? Work for deal/no deal arrangements between the UK and France is proceeding for UK citizens living in France. The FCO has published them here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/living-in-france
  20. Just UK customs to deal with then Nick.
  21. Nice article on the Revolfe S.A. Nissan 300ZX Z32 by Bilstein. https://www.bilstein.com/uk/en/blog/performance-built-to-last-revolfe-s-a-nissan-300zx-z32/
  22. You still need to take out the bolt the first time to cut a slot in it. One you have done that putting it back is a breeze.
