  1. What year is your car? From the factory '89-'93 TT's had the earlier spoiler shown in the first image below, whilst '94 on had the second (so called tea tray) spoiler. Nissan changed over to the later type because of problems with rotting with the earlier foam based type. Note the third brake light types used for each version, the earlier one is part of the spoiler itself, the latter one (like yours) is part of the boot lid.
  2. This is the relevant page from the FSM. The pdf attached below is better resolution. LC-3.pdf
  3. Still have a problem with my expired ads not auto renewing. Can't see an option to manually renew?
  4. This is the original post I made when I used Infinity Kappa tweeters. Since then I have made new versions using JL Audio tweeters (which you can see in my gallery photos) The technique was the same for both. https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/topic/141120-tweeter-pods/
  5. Is that 6V across Pin 1 and then each of Pins 10, 24 and 34 or P1 and a direct chassis ground?
  6. Well done Howard - a richly deserved feature in JP for the marque. The car looks fantastic!
  7. As far as I'm aware the factory painted the engine bay with just the base coat. The P4U base coat dries to a rather dull flat/satin finish. With the clear coat on it is a very good match to the rest of the car. I need to return your seats and other stuff so I'll spray a sample for you to see and bring that with me.
  8. I've had very good results with TK3 paint supplied by these folks: http://www.paints4u.com/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=5423 The paint comes out of the nozzle in a thin vertical "band" and layers up beautifully. The TK3 colour match (with the clear coat) was perfect.
  9. Rex, have a word with Jim@Powerzed. He can advise on what will be involved and costs. https://en-gb.facebook.com/PowerZed-331214947014135/
  10. Two adds I had running have expired and not auto renewed. They both have "Cannot be renewed" their listing.
  11. Takes BIG cahonas to fly a vintage single engine piston aircraft across LARGE expanses of wilderness and water... What an adventure!
  12. For car parts you will be charged duty (4.5%) on the declared value of the goods and then VAT (20%) on the goods, the shipping and duty combined. Plus a courier handing admin fee for customs clearance (usually £12 to £20 depending on the courier).
  13. Best wishes on your Birthday Gary!
  14. Take care with the blasting as I have a spare which was carefully sandblasted but still blew small holes in some of the cooling fins.
  15. Not necessarily - Nissan added additional coolers for Euro spec cars after high speed testing on German autobahns. In the case of the PS system the mechanical pump is designed to provide full flow at, or very close to, engine idle speed (needed for example with low engine revs and parking). As engine revs increase and are maintained (high speed driving) more and more fluid is being pumped around the (open spool) system. As such, the oil heats rapidly, and can without additional cooling overheat and cavitate resulting in PS performance degredation and/or failure. Granted that for most everyday driving the cooler is probably unnecessary, but Nissan would have been conservative for their specifications for the European market. If you track/race your car adequate PS cooling is something to bear in mind. Here is a post on TT.net with folks experiencing PS failures through overheating when using their cars on the track: http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/general/view/2576746/Power-steering-pump-issue-after-track-session.html

  17. Best wishes on your Birthday Tony!
  18. Your welcome Dan and thank you for supporting the Club. Look forward to seeing the pictures.
  19. I don't think I have your car's details in my UK specs database. If you PM me the VIN I will add it.
  20. That's where the handy "View my Z Profile" comes in!
  21. It wasn't that long ago that a Z32 would be condemned for that amount of corrosion. Lovely to see it being restored!
  22. Did that not remove the paint as well?
