Exhaust tuning
Apart from not really knowing what goes into the castings (garden gates, man hole covers or whatever) the following defect affected a batch of AMS manifolds:

Exhaust tuning
The gases coming off the exhaust turbine are spinning in a circle at a very high velocity, are very hot and still expanding. If those gases enter a larger volume (as in old stock downpipes) they create turbulence slowing the exhaust velocity. When the internal wategate opens this creates even more turbulence which further slows the exhaust velocity. The idea behind all the split downpipes (SZ/Dupree 1st gen splits, 2nd gen Super splits and 3rd gen 3" downpipes) is to keep the exhaust turbine gases entering a pipe similar in diameter to the turbine. This minimises turbulence and together with seperating the wastegate gases (for as long as possible) speeds up the velocity of the exhaust gases and enables the turbos to spin up sooner and make more power.

You could make the same argument for motorists then in that situation.

clutch no pedal...
I remember when I fitted a new clutch slave cylinder I had a lot of trouble getting the dam system to bleed. I solved it by priming the slave with a syringe filled with fluid and following the bleed process exactly as described in the FSM - Pump quickly 1,2,3,4 pumps, hold down on last pump - open bleed valve (~half turn), close *then* release pedal. Repeat again and again... You could hear the air being expelled each cycle.

Where can i get........
The kit from CZP for BBKs uses banjo fittings: This is the kit I fitted to the AP F&R calipers, but would also work with Brembo calipers with same type of fitting (as per evo calipers pictured above).

Where can i get........
The picture I posted was for R33 Brembos. I was able to stretch the existing hardlines to reach the new position with the Brembos. The fitting on the Brembo would take either type of connection (stock type or banjo). Got a picture of the new brake lines you will get?

boost leak testing
5 psi is considered the safe maximum. Here is a useful guide on boost leak location: http://www.thumper300zx.com/z32/boostleaks/boost_leak_guide.htm

New rear wheel trouble
With the rear of the car on axle stands at the rear jacking points, use a trolley jack under the rear hub to compress the suspension up to the point the car just starts to lift. The suspension will be in the driving position (to all intents) and you will then be able to see the true relation of the wheel to the bodywork.

HKS EVC V Malfunction please help.
The copy I have has a section: 4. Warning Setup Mode If the pressure in the surge tank exceeds the set boost warning level, it will trigger the warning function. When the warning funtion is activated, the boost will return to stock (baseline). Sounds like the condition you described?

HKS EVC V Malfunction please help.
Have you got the manual for that EVC model?

genuine 99spec front bumper
Not than I am aware. The Japanese parts diagram I have for the 99 spec front bumper dosen't show an "all in one" part # (adl) phoenix may be better able to confirm that though. CZP in the US does list the other items under the main 62022-VP125 part.

What did you do to your zed today?
The full description of what is going on with "Goose Honk" is: http://bde-performance.com/goose_how.htm Nothing really to do with increased boost pressure or parts wearing out. The noise is in fact masked by stock filter boxes and is exposed by changing to aftermarket filters and especially the move to the Selin/dual filter setup.

Well done Tom, hope to see the car in the metal one day.
