ok, having issues again... throttle cutting out...?
that break in the rubber boot on that plug is common mate, although it might let a little water and dirt in, it's nothing major if the connection underneath is ok, ya can buy some stuff, probably from maplins called 'self amalgemating tape', probably spell wrong, but it's a kind of rubber tape, that sticks to it's self and bonds, water tight and that, wrapping a bit of that round it should be ok for ya, it's flexible and normaly black so shouldn't look out of place either, just wrap it round and squeeze together... found it, don't like maplins personally, but here ya go.... http://www.maplin.co.uk/search.aspx?menuno=11862 cleaning the connectors is a tedious job but WELL worth it, you'll need a tin of contact cleaner, some little tools like pins, nail files, very small screw drivers etc. whatever you find that works really, scrape all the green gunk off and expose as much clean metal as you can, and the female end of plugs it's good to close up the spade connector a tiny bit to ensure a tight connection, hope it cures your problem pal, more than likely will be summet and nowt, but those are the most annoying faults! keep us posted...

ok, having issues again... throttle cutting out...?
i would also check the connection on the temp sensor for the ECU (front of the engine, top water pipe, 2 sensors, one is to the ECU and one is for the dash gauge, it's one of em, can't remember which of the two, but check em both, make sure the connectors are clean and the spade on the top on the sensor isn't loose, if it is, just use a nail or something similar and a hammer to flatten the rivet, you'll know what i mean), causes over fuelling and the hesitation you mentioned, just a thought pal.... well worth unplugging everything you can and checking for green gunk on the connections, especially injectors..... HTH.

bigred caliper seal kit...
it was THIS big :detective: just a jiffy bag! i was panicking due to my impatient nature and having no front wheels or calipers on her.... no signature required... happy days. all back together, just the backs to do now, yellow car, done the calipers yellow, not 100% happy, about 90%, but still looks nicely nicely, and the fact that 2 pistons were siezed on the inside of both calipers tends to make me think the brakes will be a wee bit better now

bigred caliper seal kit...

bigred caliper seal kit...
i think i missed it yesterday, said packet but needed signing for on the card they posted through, think my dad is waiting for summet too tho, so fingers crossed it'll be here today, why the hell do ya have to wait 48 hours and then the depot is only open for about an hour, and always the 1 hour ya can't flamin make it! arrrrghhhh. last time i stuck a piece of A4 paper over my letter box asking to leave any parcels at next door as it was urgent, the turd wrote out his card and pushed it right through the piece of paper and through the letterbox! that's just takin the p*ss!

bigred caliper seal kit...
sounds like a daft question, but has anyone bought this for the front? If so, does it come in a jiffy bag on a card kinda thing, or in a box? Just wondering as i have ordered a set, but just wondering if it will fit through the letterbox! I put my dad's address by mistake, so don't want to miss them arriving if no-one in...

Major Engine Oil Leak Help
mine is leaking too, £26.92 i think was the price from mike at MJP on here, which is a good price, but still silly money for an oil seal tbh, it's a gearbox out, clutch and flywheel and it's there, will be doing mine soon, getting about 5 drips a night when parked up...

SWB & LWB differences?
i think there are some very slight differences in the door cards from a post i read the other day, petrol flap is in a different place, boot is deeper, and it's lighter, obv...... erm, dunno....
