  1. my MOT, tax and insurance keeps running out :(
  2. aye, i'd go with no spoiler too..... (says me at the mo!.....)
  3. slight noise when sat in car and in neutral (manual), press the clutch and it goes away, new clutch and thrust bearing less than 100 miles ago, so not that, and a bit of crunch going from first to 2nd, but not from any other gear to 2nd :( and my mum cries when i press the pedal on the right...
  4. i don't personally like the dash or A-pillar gauges, forgive me, but tends to look chavish to me, a bit like sticking an 100 quid backlit voltmeter right infront of you in a fiat punto, however, 3 useful gauges in a din slot, look smart, and are very functional, although as mentioned, can take your eyes off the road whilst driving....
  5. the wish list has just been updated :)
  6. yep, 19's, but wihtout looking at em, couldn't tell you the spec, and was thinking, maybe wishing really with money and what not, of the non-offensive nice skirts he does, and do ya mean the Stillen lip?
  7. also, no pics as of yet, but have done the zedwizz fogs/reverse LED mod, look the dogs :)
  8. good point funky, the front has blistein shockers on it, lowered, but not sure how much, rear is all original, all be it new (receipts and visual check shows new OEM shockers....) have thought about Car.Mad's skirts, but would they look daft with the OEM front bumper?
  9. cheers pixas, everytime i look at the back of her, with the lights on in the dark, i do something very childish in my boy's breifs.....
  10. well, hmmmmm, what i might do, is, fettle it, so the parts i have trimmed, are bob on, i.e. filled, curved, and the dogs, then try it, and because i appreciate the funkster's oppinion so much, if it don't look right, could flog it, ready to fit to a Z32, for a slight profit, gives me something to do on a rainy day! must be someone out there with the same idea as me....
  11. my dad syas 'ya blinging it up ya chav!', i want suttle, not corn or cheddar.....
  12. i'm with ya there matey, umming and arrring, need more advice!!!!
  13. actually, even i am thinking it looks a bit gay, but all comments are welcome.......
  14. reet, well this was just messing about wiht it today after some slight fettling, it''s from an N/A, so non of that active-aero crap, like I said, only cost a fiver, can't even get 2 pints for that, so no big deal, and gives me something to mess about with, but doesn't look tooooo bad, but all comments, good or bad are appreciated..... Also, try and imagine the centre bit not being there, just the 2 outside supports, if any photoshop boffins are around, feel free, it was windy and wouldn't stay put for the photos without the moddle bit on, like i said, just a thought.............
  15. and doing the '300ZX' lit up at the back is pretty straight forward, if ya have the bits ya need and patience and knowledge.... i would gladly help you out if ya need it matey....
  16. yeah funky, yer old PTU 'was' in that, but it gave up the ghost a couple of weeks back, may have been a loom problem at the time, but since fitting the new loom, and had to go back to my old PTU, happy days, but needing a series 2 PTU, no doubt, many thyanks for that pal... And the yellow is the colour I bought it as, apperantly it's called 'Daytona Yellow', kept it the same colour, got a paint shop to match it, just different cameras and different lighting i guess... And I am working on a spoiler, please prepare FunkySi to have a coronary, it's an N/A GTO spoiler, without the active aero crap on it, anyways, it cost me 5 quid off ebay, and if i ain't 1000000% happy with it, then it ain't happening, pics to follow.... thanks for the nice comments, and it is begging for a spoiler, if anyone feels the need to donate there 99' spec spoiler in perfectly good working order, or even brand new, to a good cause, then fire away :)
  17. hahaha, yeah, cheers, that pic was actually because I felt the car was pulling my pants down and spanking my arse, it's symbolic.... haha
  18. Just been looking through some pictures I have taken along the way, had her 3 years now, but was working away for about a year of that, breif history : I bought her, quite cluelessly as I didn't know Zeds then, with apparently a crackered turbo, smoking alot from one side, turned out to a rather large hole in piston no. 4, so it's been a graft, but lots of fun and learning re-building her, also pretty much everything had been broken or bodged, well that's where my OCD came in and worked a treat! Manual conversion too, everything done by me and my Dad... She's all lovely now, just thought I'd share some pics from the years, couldn't have done it without you guys (and gals) help!!! And my Dad too, Poppa Tudor, he's a frickin genius...
  19. i've got a mines ecu too, and the chip is 'potted' in, i.e. glued up, so not on a mines if it's owt like mine...
  20. I've done it with the engine in, took me the best part of a day just to get the old one out of the bulkhead, but as i didn't know what bracket i was looking for, could do that bit in well under an hour now second time, and the rest is pretty straight forward, apart from tha AIV and EGR plugs just were no long enough, which didn't matter anyways. you just have to be patient mate, and swot up on all the connectors furst so ya know what goes where... it's the best thing i've ever bought for my Z, before, ya repair one connector, another breaks or is gunked up...
  21. that's what i did, mine had completely snapped in 2 at the bottom, fabbed a piece of metal, fibreglass matting and resin, bit of bog, is now perfect...
  22. your not wrong mate, very tight engine bay etc. but once you learn your way aound it, and you will! then it all makes sense and it ain't so bad... plus you'll find pretty much anything you need to know here, speeds the jobs up 10 fold...
