  1. My personal thoughts are get a stock, despoilered bootlid with a plastic strip and get rid of that half plate and put a full one in then we're cooking on gas :) +1....
  2. looks a lovely example, never took to the Z31 tho really, infact i dislike it (never been in one tho) but i'm only 27, so guess i wasn't really around much in it's hay day, and never remember seeing any, i do remember the Mk3 supra tho, always liked them...
  3. good luck dude...
  4. yeah mate, your dead right, if ya read my first post tho, i have covered that :) i have got rubber inbetween, but it's only from a bike innertube to prevent leaking into the boot, but am trying to find some thicker and softer yellow rubber type stuff that will not only seal it, but also shape itself to the contours of the boot, will finish it off a treat, i'm working on it :tt2:
  5. mintex are apperantly pretty good for the money, a set for the front is about 28 quid i think....?
  6. congrats to ya'll, looking after my Zed is enough for me at the mo! probably more exspensive than children too, hehe :)
  7. hopefully you will do in the near future matey!
  8. very tasty mate! i do love a blue zed, if i was to change mine it'd be to bayside blue :) unsual spoiler too, but i likes it! nice engine bay too, good stuff....
  9. cheers peeps, some nice comments there! yeah, well chuffed with the whole car, it's mi baby :) and yep, yellow is the fastest colour......!
  10. or like me ya get one that started to crunch a few weeks after fitting it :( just another thing to take to bits and make better :)
  11. my car has been in bits sooooooooo many times, i doubt any of the screws/bolts are where they live, but as long as they are the right length/thread/washer etc, then no probs, i have had to go and buy some in the past as i just had a bucket of randomness!
  12. i thought i heard a long time ago that it needed to be insured, but have never found out, i got a motorbike took off me years ago because you cannot push it along the pavement or road without insurance, even if you dont have the keys for it! I'm just thinking, what if someone runs into it, god forbid, but ya know where i'm coming from...
  13. and as i fettled it with my own hands, it's the only one in the world :) :) :)
  14. thanks! it's LWB matey, only got them at the mo, will get some better pictures tomorrow....
  15. just need a new exhaust now..... and to overhaul the rear calipers, just done the front, 2 seized pistons in each of em....!
  16. I really like it, took some fettling, including the part that is circled in one of the photos, had to cut down and fibreglass/fill the outside legs, but it does look good, and had to tack weld a new bracket on the wiper motor, but i'm chuffed, looks tasty in the flesh, not OTT... all comments welcome! Just need a brake light now.... (spoiler only cost 5 quid off ebay, and had enough paint left to spray it my self too...) I will be replacing the rubbers where it meets the boot with yellow rubber when i find some, using some of my niece's bike innertube at the mo, haha.... the exercise will do her good :)
  17. have you got a copy of this email matey?
  18. nice one, will do that my self!!!
  19. cos i think that socket on compters only does video, might be wrong tho....
  20. i had to run a lead from my headphone socket on my laptop to the red and white phono socket (says audio in or summet) on my TV....
  21. does it do it with the clutch pressed?
  22. i repaired mine with some epoxy putty from the pound shop! i greased a couple of bolts up, screwed em in a bit, then moulded the putty stuff round, made sure it was flat and the right height, then when set, unscrewed the bolts and ya've got a new threaded plastic screw hole type thingie :) needs slight adjustnent tho, hazards latch no probs, but have to press it a little bit harder to get em to disengage. did this with both my pods as they were like broken biscuits....
  23. never worked on one (yet) but have only heard they are a nightmare! have you got some GTO chums? I need a high level brake light for an NA spoiler, the one without the active aero tackle...
  24. mine was rusty and very soild, have to drill a small hole in it, the got progressively bigger, then caved it in with a chisel, mine was a nightmare!
