  1. Here's a picture of my engine, I've circled the sensors for you matey...
  2. they are both on the turbo elbows, just before the exhaust downpipes join to the turbos, you'll just about see them sticking upwards, bit of a pain to change as they will be seized, you could do with getting it on conzult or something to see how they are working, if they are knackered, you can just break them off, makes it much easier to remove them then...
  3. welcome matey, and I always say 'mi' cos I'm a northerner and I type phonetically :) 'I'll have to get in my car' becomes 'I'll have f't get in mi car like' :) Lovely colour too.....
  4. welcome matey, I'm in manchester too, well, bolton! :)
  5. turned out i had 2 knackered O2 sensors matey....
  6. lurrrrrvley, mines called Trudolf :)
  7. Zedward, I like that! :)
  8. off to have another go shortly, but summet ain't right somewhere......
  9. aren't you 'supoposed' to have it done every year for the insurance? sure i heard that somewhere....
  10. stiff-ish if i leave it for a few minutes then after 1 push, really spongy, and no air will come out of the ABS unit nipple for the rears, or either rear corner.... There's nowt under the bonnet is there?
  11. summet just doesn't seem right, all the front is bled including the ABS unit's nipple for the front, that all went well, took a bit of time but i expected that, but i cannot get any air at all out off the other ABS nipple or either rear caliper, just no air coming out of any of em at all, not a sausage....? everything is tightened up etc. i.e. brake pipes and such...
  12. Back ones ain't happening, just getting no where, can pump all day and nothing? Pax front and drivers are fine, no probs, thought I would do them a go as getting no where with the rear after a long long time....
  13. Having a trauma with my brakes.... Overhauled all my calipers, and let the fluid just seep out, as I intended to flush all the fluid out and replace with fresh. I can't seem to be able to bleed them, any tips? Starting at the furthest away (passenger rear) and no air is coming out, have tried a one way valve bleeder thingy, but still nothing is coming out, even with a piece of pipe in some brake fluid, and no bubbles at all are coming out, any suggestions or tips?
  14. just a thought, does it have an immobliser/alarm fitted, and do you have the fob?
  15. maybe the PTU, that is quite often the usual culprit, bad connections too, injectors, coil packs etc. they get green gunk in them over the years, you'll want to clean every connector you can get to, bit tedious bit very well worth it, again, search and enjoy, there is a wealth of knowledge on here, thousands before you (including me) have had the same problem!
  16. no chip in the key matey, knock sensor code isn't necessarily the sensor, but could be the wiring for it, have a look in the FAQ section for the bypass mod, although that wouldn't normally stop it from starting, but wouldn't help if it hasn't been started for a long time i guess? could be a multitude of things, grab a few beers and a pizza, and obliterate the search button and soak it all up!
  17. OBD scantech nissan is a free ok alternative, no-where near as good as conzult tho, but does everything i need!
  18. i've ALWAYS wanted to go caving, just haven't got round to it yet, used to work down the sewers and loved it, it's amazing how much stuff is under our feet!
  19. that's pretty good MPG matey! :cool3:
  20. yep, that's them mate, they might not need replacing tho, may just have come out of place, but if ya wanna change em, change em!
  21. ooh, i forgot perving....
  22. oooh, i don't have time at the mo, but used to make trance tunes myself, send us some of your work! i used to do comedy stuff, banging tunes with movie clip vocals in, good to dance to and laugh at too, think all my stuff has dissapeared tho, not done it for a while, as soon as the studio is up and running i'll be all over it, ot some big DJ friends, can get stuff played at the best clubs, allthough that is a long way off yet! i would love a remote control plane, and a nitro R/C car, boyhood things i never got, will do soon :) and i would love to build an airfix model, been too long! i just love fettling things too, coming across a problem and fabbing some way around it, keeps my brain going...
  23. i have a link to a torrent site for elm street, download the torrent for research purposes only, but no body should follow the torrent through, as it is wrong. http://1337x.org/torrent/106913/0/
  24. it's a 'bit' pants devil really, watched it t'other night, ok as something to watch, but just doesn't make any sense, wont spoil anything for you, just don't hold your hopes up for a brilliant film, but as i said, it's summet to watch.....
