  1. they're gonna build some kind of crazy domes to live in, like in total recall, but after a year with the reduced gravity, your muscles would waste away and your bones would weaken, sounds a bit shit to me! would be a good crack tho if there was a pub and a brothel :whistling:
  2. try somewhere like this matey? the first place i found searching for 'plastic bungs'... personally i hate it when i see a bolt bunging a pipe up, looks really shoddy.... http://www.grommets.co.uk/index.php/products/2?gclid=CNqcmOvJ-KQCFQHS4wodpg00gg
  3. i've always heard, and it is only a ball park, as you said, depends on how it's been looked after etc, but 70k from a turbo, no idea about the oil pump tho...
  4. my mates got a 24v dewalt one, it's not bad, handy to keep in your boot as i'm always fixing cars, but not a patch on an air one tho...
  5. the search results : http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m570.l1313&_nkw=h3+hid&_sacat=See-All-Categories
  6. I've got some ebay ones on a saab 93 (and they are about the only thing that hasn't broke on the entire god damn car) been on for a few years, no probs at all, just a quick search brought these up.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HID-XENON-KIT-H7-H1-H11-9005-HB4-H3-6000K-8000K-10000K-/220685868401?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3361e71d71
  7. yeah, more leverage, if they shear, then new studs, not the end of the world, obv you'd rather not tho... You have done already, but loads of oil/penetrating fluid, and if they move a tiny bit (but they'll probably just go 'crack' and come loose) then keep working them back and forwards, should the thread be shitty.... lift the bar as apposed to pushing it down too, i damaged my wrist pushing a breaker bar down as i had no space to pull it....
  8. i'd buy that for a dollar, make it 4 :)
  9. i wish mine was on the road, only about 10 miles from me :(
  10. a brand new bayside blue manual slicktop TT straight out the factory, then make it even more beautiful!
  11. i saw ELV15 (i think that's how it was spelt) on a battered old mini years and years ago, that's gotta be worth a few quid...
  12. it has started tho, twice, just randomly, drove it for about half an hour and never missed a beat, turn it off, then just wouldn't start, has done this twice....
  13. i'm not sure mate, think it may prevent the car from starting when it detects a fault...
  14. you just gotta be careful not to damage the heated screen wire thingies...
  15. hahahaha.... well, turns over fine, never tries to fire tho, just fresh air coming out the exhaust, fuel pump is priming, but none getting to the cyclinders, i.e. the injectors are not opening, but there is pressure. no spark that i can find, but i'm sure it's not the immiobiliser. the code light goes out as it should, but the injector light stays on. i think it is the crank sensor aswell, but am i right in thinking it is located behind a cam pulley and it's an engine out jobby?
  16. mr blue sky - ELO pretty muchything by earth, wind & fire stepping out - joe jackson smooth criminal - jacko/alien ant farm on a mission - gabriella cillmi music - john miles live and let die - wings they all get me tuned in :)
  17. here's my little turd, Fozzy, he's a legend, and a nutter, half staffy, and half jack russel (i think)... he's filled out quite a lot now, he was only about 6 months old on this pic, he's about 2 and a half now....
  18. I did the violin at primary school, hated it, got pretty good tho, but haven't touched one since i was about 10, just use a keyboard and a violin sound :)
  19. mine is located behing the passenger side wheel arch linig, inside the wing (i didn't put it there) was knackered from water damage when i got the car, but i repaired it, cleaned all the crud out the wing and fitted it better....
  20. that's played on a cello, and there's more than one aswell...
  21. my dad was about to knock something up for this, but he's going for an op on tuesday, when he's out he's gonna do it for me, will be few weeks off, but i'll write a detailed jobby of how he does it.....
