  1. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm 27, no claims or convictions, had license for 7 years, did have 2 years no claims, but worked away on cruise ships, and if ya don't insure a car for 2 years, you lose your no claims, arse holes... Anyways, just rang adrian flux as I saw them on the banner up top, and they wont go near me with no no claims, or if they did it would be around four grand... Car is a 92' TT LWB import, no mods, any suggestions guys??? I've spent 3 years restoring her to her former glory, and don't fancy this kick in the nuts really...
  2. I got mine from a scrap yard Matey...
  3. I'm not entirely sure, but you may have to reset the ecu to remove the previous code, i think you do that by disconnecting the battery for a couple of hours, someone should confirm that tho...
  4. search for 'dett bypass', might help, i don't think i know of any other plugs that you put a resistor in, have you done a diagnostic? if you get code 34, and you have a plug at the back of the plenum not plugged into anything, i would imagine that's what it is, will put you in safety mode...
  5. is the plug at the back of the plenum? i'm thinking you might mean the dett. sensor bypass, if so, it's a 1 meg ohm resistor, maplins will have em, if that's the one your talking about...
  6. Old thread I know, but is it possible to fit an oil pressure sender to that blank above the oil filter???
  7. could just be my car mate, everything on it has/had been butchered and bodged by a monkey's pet ferret...
  8. i haven't done it on a zed, but last time i changed an ignition barrel, i filed a couple of flats on the sheared off bolts, and managed to get some mole grips on em to undo them...
  9. So some jap numpty doesn't put it in reverse by mistake and back into his mate lee wong's rickshaw...
  10. I had all that off last night, grrrr, unplugged the other bonger, the reverse ones gettin a spanking tomorrow then, i'll post up if it cures it....
  11. mine are/were OEM, black, red and white on both of em....? thing is I'm pretty desperate for em, do other nissans use the same sensor? there's a nissan breakers near me, i rang em today, said he had 2, so i popped down well chuffed, got there, and he pointed to a z stacked on top of 2 other cars and said, 'there they are', so i politely told him he was a gerbil, and left. but there are primeras, 200sx's, and other stuff, maybe i can get em of them? will be a damn site easier to remove than zs....
  12. do one side bronze and the other side shadow chrome, then you can park it facing either way depending on your mood.. :)

  15. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-Universal-3-Wire-oxygen-lambda-sensor-probe-/130374813493?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1e5af1c735 Anyone bought these before? the Z is the first on the list, but how do you distinguish between the 2 white wires, as the Z is red black white...
  16. Thanks matey, but managed, bought a draper one, strong enough, but wouldn't budge with a big bar due to the angle, and my impact wrench wouldnt budge it, so broke them off, and undid the outer part that screws into the elbow quite easily, put it in the vice, took out what was left of the sensor, and put the bit back on the elbow.... cheers anyway matey...
  17. I'm gonna go and buy a O2 sensor socket, did a search but can't seem to find out if i want 22mm oir 21mm?

  19. Anybody else bought the LED conversion reverse/fog lights from zedwizz and the reverse lights dim slightly in sync with the beeper?
  20. arrrrr crap, dear do them little efforts! think that's gotta be the only things that haven't been changed on the entire car, may as well tick em off the list! just out of interest, what should they be reading?
  21. Reet, my car is over fuelling, had it on shareware conzult today, and, the left one reads 0.02/0.03v. If i unplug the left one, it reads a constant 0.33v, plug it back in, 0.02/0.03. The right hand one reads 0.06, if i unplug it, nothing changes, what should they be reading? neither of them change at all when revving the engine....
  22. i replaced mine today (just the gauge it's self) and now it works perfectly....
  23. What would cause this? could it be anything to do with my mines ecu? (sorry for the thread hijack)
