  1. This is want you want ideally, iron and sucker combine, the tip is hollow, goes over the pin, melts the solder, the you just suck, job done, does a perfect job every time... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/30W-IRON-Electric-Iron-DESOLDERING-PUMP-SOLDER-SUCKER-/170486044619?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item27b1c297cb#ht_3746wt_1185
  2. Shame they didn't do a MWB.....
  3. That's a bargain, it looks good enough, if that is a picture of the same as your getting, mine cost me 60 odd quid each...
  4. Unless I am talking utter rubbish and the actual airbag is in the steering wheel, oops :(
  5. Not sure about the HICAS issue, doesn't really look like what I would expect a HICAS boss to look like, but I have never removed my steering wheel so never seen one, but I would remove the airbag, I wouldn't want that to go off with that wheel on!
  6. It says neutral switch off on the read out, so 25 degrees is fine, as I doubt he did the test with it in drive or in gear...
  7. Fair play mate, well done, I used to love cross country when I was younger, could run for miles with ease, used to run 4 miles to work and back again most days of the week, but after discovering beer, fags, a comfy couch and the internal combustion engine, game over :)
  8. Anyone else seen this? I watched it tonight, and it's nothing like the trailer, there's only about 10 minutes of driving in it (?), an hour of cheesy electro music whilst you have to watch two people who hardly speak for the first half hour, gaze lovingly into each others eyes, and about 20 minutes of violence, but the violence bits where Ok, if your into that, which fortunately I am... Anyways, I was expecting car chases and, believe it or not, driving. It's something to watch, but basically has bugger all to do with driving, apart from they talk about it sometimes, the guy has an indestructible car, and about 7 reverse gears during the one short car chase... Rant over, at least I watched it for free... :gun_bandana:
  9. The engine management light on the dash does the same flashing as the led on the ECU mate...
  10. Is it definately coming from the where the sump mates with the block? I.e. no oil about the seam?
  11. What spritley said, haha, didn't see that post :)
  12. Yep, in situ, but if I remember correctly, the AC belt is behind the alternator belt, so you have to remove that first, but, 'if' it is your AC belt, and you don't use your AC, there's no rush, all it runs is the AC compressor, I'd have a look at your alternator, make sure that still has a belt on it, then you'll know it's your AC...
  13. Could it be from one of your cam covers, and running down the back of the engine? Very common...
  14. Eleanor is the winner, but my second choice would be a Stingray, I just love the shape...
  15. I think I 'might' have one my self come to think of it, if not, I shall give you a shout Groover, cheers, makes more sense that than being in the tank...
  16. Sorry for the hijack, but I have asked this before, to non avail.... My gauge works fine, but my low fuel light does not work at all, never has, bulb is fine, all the tracks on the board etc. are fine, is the float/sensor easy to get to?
  17. They can't fail it, but can give an advisory (or they used to be able to, I've had one), purely because from a safety point of view, you don't want oil leaking onto the road... Anyways, yer Zed'll be reet mate :)
  18. God luck mate, think the water leak will be an advisory at worst, I think they are more concerned about fuel/oil leaks as it fouls the road surface, keep us posted!
  19. People who say 'Will you learn me how to do that?', or 'Will you borrow me a fiver?', boils my piss!
  20. That's bang on......! (for a change) :)
