  1. I did mine a bit back, 'effing pain in the arse, saying that tho, I could do one quite easily now that I know what that bracket is all about... Where did you get your loom from? Mine came from California, and I have an extra connector left over, behind the plenum, a little to the left, for some sensor we don't have, to do with emissions, so if you do have too, don't panic :)
  2. take a nice piece of colourful A4 paper with you and ask them to print it out on that for you :)
  3. No probs, anything to stop you ruining your dashboard with a stone age looking pod! :)
  4. Might be of some help matey : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=141820&highlight=series+climate http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=141787&highlight=series+climate
  5. I saw my first last week, I could knock one of them up in 10 minutes!
  6. could do with some bigger brakes on that mate :innocent: Me likes, nearly bought some very very similar for a previous car of mine...
  7. series 1 digital doesn't give you control over the direction, but series 2 does, you can swap the pod and the ecu for series 2 to get the directional ability (not sure what series yours is, or if you knew that)...
  8. that's what I meant :innocent:
  9. my mines ECU has diagnostics, are you going by the stock boost gauge or aftermarket? Safety boost is 7 PSI...
  10. ask them to just crack it for you, if someone popped over to me and asked me, and I had 5 minutes, I'd do it, then you can take it home and undo it fully....
  11. Yeah, they do, when I can afford one, I shall be purchasing one, definately...
  12. I've got a vibration from about 35 mph, centre bearing is fine, must be the prop I guess...
  13. Who has had their prop balanced after fitting the manual half for the conversion, and how much did it cost? If you had vibration previously, did it cure it? Tudor...
  14. I popped her over to the MOT guys across from us earlier, and he said mine is spot on, no probs...
  15. +1 :) (each to their own and all that tho)
  16. The instructions to put the HICAS in diagnostic mode specify putting the car in neutral, is this just to prevent the wheels from turning, or is it needed for the diagnostic procedure? The reason I ask, is I didn't connect up the neutral switch when I did my manual conversion, I just adjusted the timing accordingly...
  17. Was there something about the brake test, not using a rolling road because of the LSD?
  18. IIRC, there are a few letters, or memos etc. that people have printed out and taken with them to their MOT, I think one to do with emissions, and maybe one to do with a small amount of play in a ball joint or something? After 5 and a half years, I shall be taking her for an MOT this week :) I was wondering if anyone has a link to any, or all of these things, I would like to take as much ammunition with me as possible to ensure a pass :) Cheers, Tudor...
  19. Dunno actually mate, think it's 100mm anyways, in that case you'll have the most stupid, and illeagal setup ever, that's doubley pants, haha.... :)
  20. as in take the light assembly apart? CBA doing that, could just take each inside stop/tail bulb out? Mines in for MOT this week, I'll let you know how it goes :) Easy enough to wire up a temporary one under the car for one day tho...
  21. Hmmmm, that means that the zedwizz setup (which I have) 'technically' could be an MOT failure, as they are not 100mm away from the brake light...
  22. I know my subscription ran out some time ago, I was wondering if I had to sub again as a new user, or as a renewal? Thanks, Tudor...
