as long as your engine is healthy, you shouldn't have any problems, i'd guess about half of us have de-cats (me included), and no problems with MOTs, (well not usually emissions anyways :) It's just the loss of back pressure can make a dodgy turbo oil seal more obvious, and doesn't help it, but if they are good you'll be fine... (my opinion anyways) :) HTH...

to be honest, i reckon most zeds out there need a new loom with the age and what not, i've fitted one on mine, was the best thing i ever bought, if there's a problem now, i know it's not a duff connector etc.... And mine was a LHD, just means there's a bit of extra length that you can tuck under the battery tray out of the way, oh and you may have a spare connector that goes no-where, i did, bought mine from california, and apparently over there they have an extra sensor, due to strict emissions regulations, it did puzzle me for a while!...

whats the file called mate? there's lots, all seem to be cams of telesyncs tho...

I (personally) would stick with the NGK platinums, perhaps the C instead of B (or the other way round, can't remember), have heard about running issues with the iridiums, and the NGKs were actually made for the VG30, it's the reach of the plug that matters, or the amount it sits into the cylinder, however, I might be talking rubbish.... :)

have you cleaned the MAF connections? (under the nose panel, sensor attached to the intake) and I would also clean every connector you can get to really, it's possible you could have disturbed something whilst doing the conversion? HTH...

maybe a member near you has their exhaust off at the moment, you could perhaps offer the centre section up, make sure it fits (as you have japspeed de-cats, and a different make back boxes) and if it fits, you could take it somewhere and get an exact copy made, just an idea pal, and can't see it being very expensive really...

I know what it's like mate, my problem tho is perhaps not I can't sleep, I refuse to, and I don't really do it consciously, if I could live without ever sleeping, I would, and I hate it... All I can think of really, is serious physical exursion, more w@nking, and perhaps (easier said than done) try not to think about trying to get to sleep, and whilst your lay there, never ever look at a clock, that only makes things worse, and no beer for a few hours before bed, although it helps you nod off, you end up having fragmented sleep, which isn't much good the next day... Failing that, I fell asleep in the cinema watching that god awful Britney Spears film 'Crossroads', although I would rather eat my own foot with a spoon whilst watching my Dad 'Bishop Bash' than have to sit through another 30 minutes of that....

My Grandad lives in middleton.... And you wont see me just yet, still working on it, but hopefully for not much longer, will have to have a mini-meet :)

Cheers... on USA cars, they are red sidelights, I've just put leds in mine, I was tempted to get some clear ones and put amber leds in as indicators... Where abouts in Manchester are you? I'm only in Westhoughton, I'll keep my eyes open for you and the purple beauty!

Off topic, as I'm not really that way inclined to talk about men in that kind of way :) But roobarb, are the side markers on a 99' spec, on the rear bumper, indicators? They are amber on 99'ers, red on all others, have always wondered.... :-)-8--

does sound pretty normal really, perhaps just uses one pin as the signal between the sensor and ground (the casing), try heating it up with a fag lighter or something whilst your meter is on it and see how the reading changes.... (don't get it too hot tho) :)
