  1. yeah, I knew that, just checking you awake Jeff :whistling:
  2. daft question, but are your boost solenoids plugged in?
  3. they are there so if you have your CC on, touching/pressing the clutch or brake pedal will cancel it out, obviously the clutch pedal wasn't there before, so you need to wire the clutch pedal switch in parralell with the brake pedal switch, so that either pedal will cut off the CC... Or you could just leave it, and press your brake to cancel the CC... HTH...
  4. one set is longer than the other  (sorry, had to be said) makes sense they are the same, but, and I'm only asking as I'm curious, is the rear sub-frame very different too? Makes sense with the fuel tank etc. I've just never been under a SWB...
  5. what are the symptoms of your fault matey?
  6. I don't really know much about scoobies, but the rust on the arch is a bit poo, it may not be the only rust... Depends if you want a project... As for the head gasket, at least it has been changed and has reciepts to prove it, not really a bad thing, if there was a problem at the time, I'm 'guessing' it has been rectified...
  7. Oh well, sack that last idea then :) Just a bit of info on boost jets for you then.... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=29063
  8. Can you not dissasemble the BMC and sort out the seal?
  9. do you have boost jets fitted? (maybe you do and don't know?) Could be a boost spike, as you were saying it runs out of puff the higher the revs go, mine had 1mm boost jets and did exactly that, removed them, and allbeit a bit slower, the power delivery is far better, just need to invest in a boost controller now, yet more £££! :)
  10. I've already got my track rods, just saving up for the outer ball joints, dear little fookers them are (especially when your already peppered!).... Mine were well goosed...
  11. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=92607
  12. inner or outer? http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=147818
  13. Go on then....... £5 :)
  14. IACV valve matey, have just said that so more people may know and be able to help... I did strip mine and clean it, but can't remember...
  15. HAHAHAHAHAHA! :thumbup1: :ninja:
  16. Not sure if this link will work, but there's a bunch of pics when I did my sub-frame, could be of use for someone, or at least something to look at!
  17. And wash all that grass off it! :)
  18. I've just done all that, but I cleaned/wired every part of the subframe etc. and painted it, my god it took ages, could eat your tea off the underneath now tho! Nice job on the brake lines too, I spliced 3 of mine, but I staggered the joins and put them under the plastic trim that runs under the car, so they can't be seen, just in case... Good job fella...
  19. Me too...... Essentials really.
  20. a stud shop  dunno matey, nissan (bleh), or probably most motor factors if you take your old one with you, a wheel is stud is probably the only part for a car I haven't had to buy/fit!
