  2. never used a car cover my self, but have read many threads on here how even the really good quality expensive ones, still get dust, grit etc. underneath, combined with wind, turns it into a giant piece of sandpaper, not good for your paintwork...
  3. Happy Birthday pal! :pint:
  4. I mean outer ball joints of course, but ain't they a dear do! Just a quick question, are they the same outer ball joints on any of the skyline variations? They seem to be a bit cheaper... Cheers, Tudor...
  5. Duff O2 sensor/s?
  6. TBH, if you do have a sneaky leak, I rather find it! At least you can sort it out, I'd blast a hose pipe through everyhere I could, then flush it, then hope it's ok matey.. Don't put your antifreeze in straight away though, just water at first, it'd pee you off if there is any leaks and you lose it all...
  7. IIRC....... When the auto is in neutral, it retards the timing 10 degrees, (15), and when in drive, it goes back to 25 BTDC, so you can either ground the neutral switch so it's at 25 all the time, or ignore the switch and advance the timing via the CAS to 25 whilst ticking over, as the gearbox (manual) can't alter it.... Something like that anyways :)
  8. I meant more like size of fittings etc...
  9. which ones of those are good for the Zed?
  10. Temp cover told me they wouldn't insure it as it is group 18, and they don't insure group 18 or over...
  11. if anyone has got a passenger seat in perfect condition for free, I'll make it fit my driver's side and do an in-depth write up on how to do it :)
  12. Happy Birthday matey! Have a good'n! :pint: :pint:
  13. you couldn't even be bothered writing your 'contribution'
  14. mines LWB, and the bumper screws into a simple bracket, just a strip of metal about 1-1/2" that sticks out with a nut on the end, I'll put some pics up in a bit mate, and some of the rust, will be tackling it shortly...
  15. Has anyone got any pics of rust repairs they've done on the rear, not the sills, but the bottom quarters behind the wheel, under the bumper where all the water and shite flicks up? Recently discovered some rot on mine, which I'm glad I did, so I can repair it, just wondering if there's any pics floating about for ideas and what not? Cheers guys.... Tudor...
  16. youm could coat your shiny bits with high temp clear laquer, should stop them corroding, and stay shiny?
