Are O2 sensors the same for turbo and NA models?
Hi Rob All sensors identical according to Smithy (i think it was) except for US/ Canada - which I assume is for emissions regs or similar... Rich

Anyone got a Fuse tester?
or if you've got a maglite or similar, take the end off and use the fuse to connect the base of the battery to the case...

I've heard that a toilet brush makes a very good inside-of tailpipe cleaner... and people have used alloy wheel cleaner (i think) but you'd have to be sure it won't attack the metal!!!- Looks like we get ripped off again!!
It was thought vehicles up to seven years old would be exempt from the shake-up, designed to penalise high emissions. But now it has emerged their owners will have to pay the new road duties after all. Erm - where does it say in that article that it will affect cars over 7 years old?!?- broadband recommendations
Have used BT for work (forced my hand) - expensive, but not one problem with them. I used to use Zen at home and for one of our offices... have got more expensive recently, but again, can't fault them & they have fairly knowledgeble UK tech support. Swapped home to SKY, and had no problems, but know people who have... My dad's just ordered from Madasafish & they are possibly the worst company out there - unbelievable tech support, and still haven't got ADSL activated on the line, despite a BT engineer saying that it's not active - steer well clear!!- wiring gauges
Can't see any reason - mine only showed one cable to the sensor, but I can't even remember what make they were!- Window washers

I've not been arrested for a driving offence... but won't they have a photograph of the driver who was arrested since drink driving is a criminal offence??- Urgent Help wont start
Ok, just glanced through his & need to head home now... but has it got an immobilser?? If someone's tried to bypass it to steal it... could be a reason??- ZX as track day car
I'm not aware of any track that requires roll cage or fuel cell for track days, the exception being that to use slicks you must have at least a half cage. Again, never been required to have a fire system or even external ignition cut for trackdays. One thing to be careful of - the car must be road legal, and different organisors have different interpretations of this... i.e. some say must be mot'd, whereas some will scrutineer the cars.- Rough running
you should count the teeth between the pulleys rather than rely on the markings...- started first time
well your title wasn't particularly explanatory, so people probably had a look but didn't know the answer!!! If it's only dropping a cylinder when warm, that's one sign of the S1 PTU failing, so if you were looking to upgrade anyway, do that first as it's number one suspect... Unlikely that wiring getting warm would drop a cylinder - if the wiring's that dodgy, you'd just have it randomly running on fivr rather than just when it gets warm.- Apple Safari Web Browser
I use firefox, but that's more out of habit than anything else now... I like tabbed browsing, but Safari has it too now so I can't imagine much difference... Haven't used Safari properly for years, but Firefox has a pretty good settings import function and I'd imagine Safari is the same so not a big deal to flick between the two while you choose.- Oulton Park Drift Day - Sturday 5th
yeah that's what I thought... didn't manage to speak to the driver though.- Oulton Park Drift Day - Sturday 5th
Unfortunately I didn't take part as my car's still in bits, but went out in my mates beemer for a bit... anyway, saw this there, and i'm sure i've seen it on here at some point...?- All my bits have arrived :D woopeeee
ta very much... another thing I need to get off my arse and do!!- All my bits have arrived :D woopeeee
who di you get to test them?? I've got a second hand set... which cost considerably more :(- Hit rock bottom
Just remember, if you'd have put off making contact for another couple of months you could be telling a very different story - stop beating yourself up about it and make the most of the time you've got. All the best Rich- Z storage
I had a similar problem when I left my ex - there's a few self storage places round here (like big yellow places) and some of them have secure parking... prices were very reasonable, and the local jaguar garage uses them to store they're top end models, which was encouraging! The only condition was the car had to be insured, either normal car insurance or they could insure it for a nominal fee. hth Rich- To bleed hicas
yeah you're right... as it says in the link to the online manual you were just given!!! ;)- Merchant banking services?
depending on the volume of payments you intend to process, one fairly easy option is to set up regular card processing with your bank - either a chip & pin machine or an online interface, then set up your website to report card details to you through a secure server. If/ when the website takes off, you can then look for an automatic service that will suit the volume of sales and your cash-flow requirements. Rich- pics of your next realistic car.
I've driven some left-hookers and tbh it's not as bad as you imagine... motorways are fine cos you can see easily enough, takes a bit of getting used to on country lanes, but it's really not bad at all.- Selling a Number Plate
thought the dvla will just issue a random age-related plate??- Boost sensor
will be fine to extend it - technically, it will make the gauge response slower, but it's so crap anyway you'd never notice!! - Dirty Zorsts
