HKS Side mount intercoolers
that's not what the fins are for - they are there to increase surface area and therefore cooling; otherwise, the most efficient intercooler would just have a massive air scoop and an exposed core!

Police Complaint!
your friend obviously didn't smash the kids head into the pavement hard enough!

Anyone had a Seat Leon?
my mate's got one of the sporty ones - seems pretty good to be honest, handles well and comfortable although the ride's a touch hard: prob different on non sports models though. Would imagine the engine's almost bullet proof too...

No log book
or they throw the book at you for failure to display and driving an uninsured vehicle (no tax invalidates insurance)

Leather Repair
i did a group buy for the woolies kit a while back... think everyone got brilliant results from that - bit more expensive tho. If you do a search, there are some before and after pics somewhere... literally looked like new seats!

Daily Drive Car Ideas? Needs to be auto?
haha - I don't know how anyone could get anywhere near that figure... I've got a 530d and average 28 - max was 35 on a motorway run... you're 100% right - this will be my last diesel!

In need of Help?
revs restricted to 2500 is limp home mode for the air flow meter circuit - have you got standard induction??

Site Down?
randomly, I've only been able to access over the last few days by typing the full http://www.300zx.co.uk - usually 300zx.co.uk would work, I assumed it was a problem with my DNS servers (been altering them recently), but both addresses are resolving now, so maybe that was your problem...?

internet companies
I think the main priority is getting someone with UK technical support - it's all very well going through someone's script (where they ask you to run their online diagnostic, despite the problem being you;re not online)... but when they have absolutely no technical knowledge and only a faint grasp of english it really is a complete joke.

internet companies
not my experience of them - 3 months arguing with an indian call centre, and finally threatening legal action before they arranged for a BT engineer to come out... to tell them that there was an exchange fault... as I'd been telling them all along!

A quick question
you should be fine... http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_150.htm I reckon once a tester sees an e mark they'll assume they're fine anyway... there's possibly regulations on size somewhere in construction and use, but you'd be lucky for a tester to know the requirements!

350z style front bumper for 300zx
I've seen a copy on epracing, but i'm sure they were using the original pics... is that where you;ve seen it?

Things you`re planning on your Zed over the coming months?
Not sure about a boost sensor under the nose panel tbh... you're prob best getting in touch with AndyP or John Dixon as I'm pretty sure they'd have a better idea than most - and can provide you with a chip to suit too!
-
Things you`re planning on your Zed over the coming months?
You'd be better off swapping for an 8bit ecu as you're going to struggle to find a chip otherwise - I'm not even sure any off the shelf chips exist...

Perfect Zed
Nice... do you know what splitter that is Mike??

Agent Provocateur
Kylie did a cinema advert for them... which was banned before release (allegedly) for being too racy... either way they got massive publicity from it - Kylie riding a bucking bronco & making all the right noises, before walking towards the screen and asking all the men in the audience to stand up...! Worth a search for!

A series of problems resulting from the trip to Le Mans
When my clutch went, it only started slipping for a few miles before completely giving up - when I stripped it down, it was right down to the rivets... that's more than likely the metal on metal noise you've had rather than the plates completely disintegrating. It's fairly straight forward to swap, just takes a bit of time - no different to any other car really, although the gearbox is pretty heavy/ awkward. Be a good time to get a new flywheel (rather than skim) as by the sound of it it's been abused pretty hard when the clutch went - and will have got very hot, and could be quite badly scored. Rich

Digital Camera's/Photos
I've just bought a Lumix FZ18 and it seems fantastic - very little distortion through the range of zoom (18x), and plenty of modes/ features to use - although the AI mode is brilliant. The lens is a Leica too, so very very good quality.

Rust above windscreen
Not a DIY job then and i dont trust anyone to do this, not even auto glass places. Not after the mess with our back window! Well whoever does the metalwork is going to have to get a professional in to remove the windscreen, so makes no odds really! You could always have a chat with them first, so if they break it, they'll say nothing when you claim on your insurance....!

Any BMW mechanics out there
try here: http://www.e60.net/information/ this has the phone manual for the e60 towards the bottom, but I would assume the i-drive is identical?? It got my phone to the pairing stage... good luck!

Any BMW mechanics out there
I had similar problems with my 54 530d - sony ericcson k800i, according to the forums i read it was because the phone memory had too many entries (i think)... got pissed off messing with it in the end and just put a paug sim in the card slot! As far as I remember, it said you should have phonebook entries on the simcard, and it should work straight away... I got it to search for my phone, paired it with my phone then it just says connecting and never actually connects! Depending on what phone you've got, you can swap the phone cradle to accept your handset... Rich

Max Boost on standard fuel pump/ECU
you really need high octane - especially with warm weather, you will easily get detonation... more so when you up the boost.
