1. If you've got wide fronts on it may well be camber of the road being exaggerated... try driving down the centre of the road, and if there's a long straight on the opposite side of the road to rule it out...

original :p haha
5. you can just swap the hub for a non-hicas one. Or leave it! There is a mod you can do to stop the hicas light illuminating for a hicas fault, but retain the low fluid warning function - you need to short a couple of pins... try a search, I'm sure it was on here somewhere.
6. yes - hicas light would illuminate... if yours has been changed and you're not sure the correct boss was fitted, check the bulb's not been removed: the same one indicates low fluid level in the reservoir!!
7. I've actually got a rack which i bought from supercarparts - second hand, but from a low mileage car etc... bought to fix my old car after an 'incident, but i then bought another shell so drop me a pm if you're interested.
8. which apparently he is... someone's just had an engine built by him - in the newbie forum today!
9. seconded! wheels definitely shouldn't move when stationery... and the diagnostic is, erm, very easy to give up on!!
10. yeah, i can really see harassment, alarm or distress being cause by it!!
11. I would hazard a guess Paul had a spoiler handy and propped it up wth a wheel brace to show what it would look like...!
12. Could be a gas powered CO2 pistol - can be pretty powerful... you could make a formal complaint about the attending officer, there used to be a required level of intelligence to become a police officer!! If it's happening pretty regularly, around the same time etc you could go and lie low in the fields at the back... wear gloves and I reckon they'll have learnt their lesson in 5 mins ;) Bet you any money the police will be taking statements left right and centre then tho!!
13. why waste the rubber?!
14. if you upgrade the fronts only, you're upsetting that balance; by upgrading all round you maintain the balance and don't affect ABS... that said, i've done fronts only and not had problems with ABS kicking in.
15. yes - vvt was dropped in the final versions... 96+ i think...
16. balls, you can click the link yourselves! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=DC_Q5EZKTkc
17. this one was a classic too!
18. My parents had their drive done last month to avoid the problem... you 'may' be able to get around it if you can show that work started before the legislation came into force...
19. I personally wouldn't bother with manual controllers, but even so you'd be better teeing into one - keep the pressure equal and no chance of knocking one etc etc...
20. why would you have more than one??
21. Exactly - unmarked performance police cars obviously have a huge impact on crash statistics :headvswal
22. check if your screen resolution has been altered - years since I used a PC but think it's right click on desktop and then settings - or you can get it in control panel...
23. for a screamer pipe you need external wastegates, which you wouldn't use with standard tubs anyway!
24. The stock det sensor only works at low rpm, so although you loose the protection it's arguable that it wouldn't help in many cases - i.e. that you'll usually get detonation at high revs... so if you've got a faulty sensor (or harness) you can bypass it, and replace if/ when the engine is pulled... as to whether it's safe, your call; personally I'd do it!
25. you've never even met her! haha
