  10. Its all relative I guess and embracing new technology that is available, like anything new the rules and laws surrounding it are presently in catch up mode whilst China makes as many as they can before regulations really kick in. Personally not seen them been flown in a bad way and at events such as car shows or concerts only official sanctioned and trained operatives should be allowed. The technology on drones gets better on a weekly basis and early generation ones were more likely to have bad things happen in untrained hands, but I guess Ian your concerned on the potential damage to your car or yourself is understandable. As with everything, not all drone operaters are idiots, many do take courses and have paid thousands for top tech drones so crashing it really is not on their to do list. Jeff
  11. To safe all that faf in the future get one of these, brilliant just touch by the coil pack and it not only tells you if the coil is triggering also if the plug is firing and how well, would not be without mine, works on any car with coil packs. Jeff
  12. Ok if it is a bad connection and the engine has been left a while just try starting it again first, sometimes the connection will be ok and misfire gone, this happens a lot with injector connections actually. Any way remove the offending cylinder coil pack with spare spark plug in, lay it on the engine so the outer part of the plug is touching down, and start engine see if you have a spark, sounds like you will not, if that is the case its back to the connections for the PTU. Compression will not be the issue, cannot happen like that. Jeff

  20. See picture to clarify what speedo head is fitted to the cluster you bought, and check the tech link of mine below to see if that is your problem. Which ever one you have there is only thread in one position so it cannot be moved except by changing the head. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?175083-Speedo-soldering-tech See picture showing screw thread position on speedo head for a UK spec unit below. Jeff
