Which side ??
Bloody hell Si - you get through more cars than some (French) people get through pants  Richard ;)

Which side ??
No need - I just pull up with the side of the car as close to the pump as possible, then move forward a couple of feet. I can then run the hose behind the car without it touching the paint-work ;) Richard :smw:

0-60 2secs faster i don't think so
I can mate! Some suckers buy anything from Ebay - I reckon I could put a stale turd on there and some twat would bid me a fiver for it  Richard ;)

Which side ??
Driving 3 cars I do sometimes forget but I just stretch the hose over if I get it wrong...... .......although on my Rav-4 there is a little arrow on the fuel guage pointing to the which side the fuel flap is! (But I still sometimes get it wrong :slap: ) Richard :D

Something that will increase power by 20bhp and reduce fuel consumption at the same time....... .......I doubt it somehow :nono: If someone really invented such a miracle they would be selling it for a lot more than £4.75. Plus if it really worked, the oil companies would be paying him a fortune to keep it off the market (or have him killed!) Don't waste your money. Richard ;)

Turbo or N/A
UK cars are group 18 ;) Richard

99 spec front bumper lights
That look superb on a black car......... :hyper: Richard

2 more questions i cant find answers to
Mine neither - the ZX is a quiet cruiser compared to many cars, including my SLK; it's quieter at 140 than the Merc is at 100...........on the Autobahn of course ;) Richard :smw:

bulb type
That is correct! (It's the import that takes H3C) Plus H1 bulbs for the main beam. Best bet is to fit upgraded bulbs or, if you can, buy a set of HIDs from Danny (DTA in the traders forums); he does a conversion kit for just under £100 delivered. Richard ;)

a few general questions
I don't think so - the balance bar on top of the plenums evens out boost pressure in the whole system IIRC. As for the other questions.....pass! Richard :smw:
-
Auto box.........
I don't have a power light - it's a UK spec car so the 'box operates in a single mode. I'll check the hand-book to see if there is a light for the 'box. Thanks for all your suggestions chaps - it's a little bit of relief to think it may not be terminal ;) Richard :smw:

FAO FunkySi
(And fuel costs).....................well, at least you'd like to think so ;) Richard :D

Dashboard gauge pod...
I have to agree with Si again  I don't mind the A-pillar pods but I'd still rather not have the stuck-on bits because I also like the natural shape of the Z32 dash. Richard ;)

Auto box.........
Sounds like a good place to start...... .....and easier than replacing a gearbox!! ;) Thanks, Richard

Merry Christmas from the Government
Seconded  What an absolute waste of our extortionate taxes. Still, it makes a change from planting more speed cameras ;) What will they come up with next................. Richard

Fekking DVLA
Aye - tis true! They will send it to arrive within 5 working days, or sooner if possible if expiry of the old one is imminent. However as it is for my ZX, the car is safe in my garage and I don't need to use it, so it's no problem waiting for the disc to arrive before driving it again. I have left it to the last minute intentionally - as is my right to hold on to my cash for as long as possible ;) Richard :D

Fekking DVLA
Jammy git ;) I've been trying since around 6.30pm but it kept timing out. I thought I'd try just now and got "the maintenance page" :slap: Richard
-
Fekking DVLA
As above...... ......how bloody stupid is it, that the DVLA close their tax-disc renewal page for maintenance at the end of a month??? Surely they know that's when most people will be trying to renew their tax disc  Or maybe that's their evil plan - to make everyone late so the b@stards can fine us all   Richard ;)

Auto box.........
Well we all know it's a case of "when" and not "if" with these things. I took the ZX out the other weekend and as usual, the car was running perfectly. However as I was almost home the auto box decided not to operate as normal. Kick-down is fine - instant and fast; the trouble is, the 'box seems a little reluctant to change up! When I overtook another car, the RPM needle just went straight into the red until the rev limiter kicked in. The 'box only changed up when I backed off the accelerator. It was still fast and responsive though. When I got home, I checked the fluid - it is nice and pink with no unusual smells (oo-er missus ;) ) and the level is spot on. I used the car for work a couple of days ago and from the off, it would not change up under normal driving until I backed off the accelerator. Even pulling away gently, the car revs to 5k rpm, then changes up. However once warmed up the problem does not seem as bad. Any suggestions (apart from a manual conversion :p ; although if a new 'box is needed I may go for it) it's a stock UK spec car with a genuine 90k miles? Cheers people, Richard

FAO FunkySi
I have to agree  They are not good - not even for a light colour car - not at all :nono: They may look better if all that chrome inside was painted black...........but even then, I still do not think they will suit a 300zx. Richard :D

who taking their's off
Not me.... .....I may drive it a bit less but I will still drive the ZX at least once a week. Richard :smw:

Which car are you?
