  1. Will do JP.... I'm probably driving up in Julia's car - my Zed is nice and clean in my garage, so best I leave it there.... I can move it when you arrive, if you bring your Zed 😉
  2. Good afternoon all, In advance of tomorrow's AGM, I have put together a short agenda - attached for everyone's perusal. Historically, we have started the AGM at noon, but given the likelihood of inclement weather earlier in the day, I suggest we bring the meeting forward to 11am.... We can move it back to noon if people would prefer 😉 The minutes from 2023 can be found here..... See you tomorrow!! 300zx OC AGM Agenda Apr24.pdf
  3. Glad you're coming Jay - look forward to seeing you!!
  4. I'm leaving home at 8am, so "normal" driving means I should be there by nine..... BUT, I'm in the Zed LOL 😉
  5. Just took a look at the log cabins on their website.... It looks like they don't have their own en-suite facilities - so I reckon we'll find a hotel down the road, like last year 😉
  6. A belated happy birthday Gary - hope all's well with you mate!!
  7. Nice one Tom - this was a really good show last year, well worth the trip.... You do have to get into the venue early, which we found to our advantage, as we got to see and hear all theother exhibitors arriving from our plot. Talking to a couple of other participants, who arrived later than us, they queued for over an hour from the A14, before they finally pitched up 😉 I'm a provisional yes 🙂
  8. Many happy returns Bob - have a great day mate.....🎂
  9. As it's a nice sunny morning, I took my Zed on the Sainsbury's run - and stopped off at the local garden centre on the way home.....
  10. Many happy returns Ali - hope you have a great day mate!
  11. Popped into my local body shop to discuss the bumper repairs..... ......And booked it in for Tuesday May 7th. I'm just awaiting the verdict from Admiral's engineers now - they have accepted liability on the third party's behalf, so they just need to agree the repair costs.
  12. Nice one Chris - look forward to seeing you and your Zed later in the year mate!!
  13. You'll enjoy it mate. I love the Island, it still retains its "Old-England" charm, no matter how many years pass by..... We're going back in September - by strange coincidence, they have a two day classic car show, the weekend we arrive 😉 I am going to message the organisers to enquire about participating - who knows, I may be able to get us a club display area for a handful of Zeds!
  14. Then finally back to Yarmouth and onto the ferry home....
  15. Also saw a raven in the wild, for the first time - I've only ever seen them in captivity (or at The Tower of London) before... He was probably a juvenile, given his size - and quite tame too, most probably on the look-out for food, as it was near a beach cafe LOL
  16. Saw a nice old P4 Rover at The Spyglass Inn, in Ventnor - my Dad used to have one of these..... 🙂
  17. A few more Zed pics, this time from my camera...........
  18. Many happy returns Craig - hope you have a great day mate!! Richard & Julia 🍻
  19. Nothing today (yet) as we're heading out to our local village food festival..... But yesterday, I gave my Zed a good wash, as it got a little grubby after the IoW trip. Oh, and I took some pics for the insurance company's engineers. It'd be rude not to share a couple 😉
  20. Last Saturday, Julia, The Zed and I took a little trip over to the Isle of Wight for a few days.... The weather wasn't too bad - it only rained as we were leaving..... We got given a good spot on the ferry both ways and our hotel was empty apart from us, so my Zed also had the whole car park to itself 😄 The Zed attracted quite a bit of attention too - when we arrived at Lymington Ferry Port a young lad of about 10, out with his dad, was really taken with the car. He knew exactly what is was and asked if he could take some pictures. Then two guys in the car behind us in the queue got out to admire the Zed. And then when we were parked in Seaview on Monday, a group of young guys passing by stopped their car and got out to look around it too!! We also met up with an old forum friend - Groover (Graham) and his wife Julie. He still has his yellow Zed, although it's been off the road a few years now. He does have a couple of donor Zeds, so hopefully will get his car up and running when he gets some time 😉 So the important bit - some gratuitous Zed pics; albeit thy are from my phone, until I upload the ones from my camera later this weekend........😎
  21. Great tip mate, thanks - I have just ordered a set of these, definitely handy to have around the garage 🙂
  22. Hi and welcome to the club Aubrey....! Very nice looking Zed you have there - and I definitely like your colour choice. Nice alternative to the stock Nissan blue😍
  23. The Committee would like to wish all the club's members and their families a VERY HAPPY EASTER 2024!! Enjoy the long weekend folks - and get out in those Zeds......
