  1. Happy Birthday mate, have a great day
  2. Yay
  3. Here you go mate, the two screws just above the palm of the hand in the pic
  4. I know what youre saying, but on almost every zed in the UK ive come across the ignition ring lights up with the lights, some come on when you open the door as it should in reality, but thats down to the TCU, it may also be dependent on European/US/UK/ jap differences or regs.
  5. If you dont want to cut any wires and have some time, get down to the bottom of the dash and the two prongs at the bottom are a light feed, left one as you look from the front is positive. Use a couple of ring crimps on the end of the wires from the pod gauge, undo the two screws at the bottom of the dash, and replace screw with the ring attached:thumbup1:
  6. Depends on the series, but most ive worked on dont lol
  7. The ignition ring light feed is longer and out of the way and easier to tap into, need the kick panel off then the binnacle to slide the ring off the barrel, there you will see the bulb holder on a wire tail, strip back both wires an inch or so away from the ring, then you have a chance to try the pod gauge light feed to determine which wire is positive.
  8. Thanks Steve, but no plans to come over yet, I think Si will be posting before his hols :thumbup1:
  9. Any time Si, let me know, will order some white 501 leds anyway as i already have the rest
  10. Dont forget our forum is public and open to be seen by all on the internet :whistling:
  11. Seriously man, should you be opening the bonnet :lol::lol: Plastic screw in the rad chamber near the top lol
  12. Happy Birthday
  13. I thought it looked quite good in the pics too, but like any car, its not till you get a close look that the real condition shows itself lol
  14. I raise the front of the car slightly either jack it or park uphill slightly as air will automatically find its way to the top, i run the engine without the rad cap on and get it up to temp, so that the thermostat opens and allows more water to flow, likely need a bit more to top up. Once the level has settled, replace cap and use the bleed screw to evacuate the air out of the system, also put your climate pod on full heat so the actuator opens for the heater matrix. Engine should be up to temp when bleeding, check coolant level in the overflow tank as the rad will draw or expel water into/from it, through the small pipe from the rad cap as required by the system, remember its not an expansion tank and is not under pressure.
  15. Nice to see you back Stu
  16. As Paul said, its still reading in Kilometers, you would need a UK odometer to read correctly, FYI JDM odometer has grey cogs, UK has blue.
  17. You dont need all that for coolant lol, fill it up, bleed the system and enjoy. The readings on the climate pod only tell you what temps you are getting into the car via the heater matrix.
  18. Radiator coolant or AC gas?
  19. I have done when i had a series 1 air con, what is it you need to know? The diagnostic show what the measurements are, but there is nothing to adjust, so i guess it just tells you if they are within range/spec and if not one or more components need replacing or the climate ecu is at fault.

  21. Happy Birthday mate, have a good one
  22. Thats good to know Russ, as im doing the same as you and also got mine form Luke years ago. I bought the 2fast2cool orignally and they fitted my NA auto with no problems, i sold them on to another member with an auto and he had to give them some persuasion, i guess it could be a variation also in the rest of the system, one slightly twisted pipe out by 20mm could probably be the difference between straight fit and a hammer lol
  23. Yes tickets will need to be bought by yourselves direct from JAE website, we have bought a load in the past, but then have to post them out to everyone, which is more expense and of course unnecessary hassle
  24. 2fast2cool or Japspeed have them on ebay mate
  25. Welcome Callum and congratulations on your new toy
