  1. Take out the fuel pump fuse, turn the engine over with wide open throttle for at least ten revolutions lol
  2. Big hammer :thumbup1:
  3. Happy Birthday mate, have a great day
  4. the clip has to be on the plug fully and therefore should miss the gap
  5. If you have your hicas removed you can use the NA pump, you will also need to do something with the pulley or belt, cant remember which as the TT pump is slightly prouder/bigger.
  6. Place the clip back on the plug, ease it back slightly with each leg just missing the last notch of the groove, fit plug and using the same screw driver edge the clip all the way. Sometimes you can place the clip on the plug all the way home and push the plug onto the injector and it should click into place. In fact im sure i put the clip all the way on, pushed onto the injector, then used the screwdriver to edge it in fully, its been a while lol
  7. Large flat screwdriver under the rear of the injector plug and the spring clip will open itself as you lift up, get a thin magnet at the ready incase it pings off.
  8. The window control module has likely got a loose solder joint as many have suffered in the past, very easy fix if it is, obviously got to take the door card off to access it.
  9. Changed the heading for you mate, i thought it said inertia's and was going to post a pic of no movement lol
  10. Happy Birthday mate
  11. Welcome to the club
  12. Another addition to the family, congratulations to you both
  13. The spacer tube at the top of the left one is missing?
  14. Its adjusted using the idle screw in the side, but check for leaks first before adjusting or your on a hiding to nothing.
  15. You dont need to be subscribed to put up wanted ads, only if you are selling :thumbup1:
  16. In that case have the rear crank seal done and tell em to refit your existing box as it was. The pipe on the drivers wing would have originally been the clutch bleed point, often done away with when doing an auto to manual conversion, Noel would have used a master to cylinder hose, ie direct from the clutch master cylinder to the slave on the gearbox.
  17. Ok just looked back at your posts, you have a TT, was the gearbox originally on the car when you bought it or have you converted from auto? Either way the same box, if you have an NA box with a TT flywheel then a small portion of the bellhousing needs grinding to avoid catching the flywheel. If it was already fitted and working, then no reason for the garage to try and sell you a different one.
  18. What car do you have a TT or NA?
  19. The boxes for NA and TT are identical apart from the bell housing and looking at that one the housing looks thicker, so i would say its for a TT NA manual box
  20. At least it was always the right way up in Japan :tt2:
  21. Happt Buttday mutE, Gawd dam keeybord
  22. The rubber on the quarter glass is molded onto the trim at that corner, just looked at mine, seems you either have wrong rubber or its been cut
