  2. Russ i went to JAE 3 years in a row in varying shades of primer lol so i wouldnt worry about it
  3. Mine was originally an NA auto and i do miss the kickdown feeling when i converted to manual, i had the manual box sitting in my garage for a couple of years before i had to change the auto and once the engine started to rattle and box not change as it should, i then decided to change both the engine and convert to manual as i had everything i needed at the time to do it. Now im converting to a TT from an auto zed, so will have the best of NA rear, single prop, NA man box and an auto TT engine for quicker spooling and not having driven a fully sorted TT before, im looking forward to the difference in performance. I used the NA auto for 7 years as a daily drive and loved every minute, now i have another daily driver, a Hyundai coupe v6 tiptronic and as my new TT will be a weekend/show toy, im happy to upgrade. The NA still had plenty of grunt and still put a smile on your face once floored and certainly in my opinion isnt that poor a relation to the TT, its still a zed
  4. Did you take it to Noel for a map or did he do a generic chip to your specs?

  10. Knowing Mandy's sense of humor, she would piss herself if you blasted past the hearse full boost in zebedee  RIP Mandy your memory will live on
  11. I know that feeling well Rich, mine gave up the ghost in July and has been standing since, but waiting for some better weather to get her going again and get inspired :thumbup1:
  12. It depends if you prefer the polished or satin look, will it look out of place if you use the polished ones compared to the rest of the interior? After having a pair of polished, but never fitted, i think i prefer the OEM black look as it matches the interior on mine.
  13. Happy Birthday Lee, have a great day :punk:
  14. Happy Birthday Kev, hope you have had a great day
  15. No components of the auto box or ecu are used or required. You use the same starter, thus retaining the auto wiring harness and only a couple of wires to run and change at a plug behind the headlight on the drivers side. Articles and How To in the tech section under transmission http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?53-Transmission
  16. Welcome to the club Ali, nice zed and hardly any work to get it looking great again, those Ferrari-ish lights dont suit the zed and thats coming from someone with round led after burner lights lol, wheels not too bad, have seen worse.

  21. Looking good mate, take note to be careful when refitting plenum not to catch the rocker cover near the oil filler like I did, took a chunk of paint off while wrestling it on while fitting PVC hose lol
  22. Happy birthday Al, all the best
  23. Because you want to leave the ac motor in the bay without disconnecting the pipes, so removing belts is necessary
