By front compnents are you talking bushes suspension etc? The TT anti roll bars are thicker/sturdier than the NA Nothing needs to change much in that department when swapping to TT, im actually doing this over the winter. There are of course no intercooler brackets and associated pipe work fixings but you can either fabricate them or go front mount intercooler. Im keeping my NA gearbox, obviously rear end and im using my NA lightened flywheel on the TT auto engine. Im sure there will be some issues to face when i start, but nothing major. You can use the existing engine loom, you wont have the extra speed for the ac or fuel pump, or boost solenoid feed, but as ive got a UK TT as a donor car im pretty much changing everything i need out to do the job. As mentioned the rad is different, also oil cooler not present on the NA, the bottom rad fixing is different on the NA and would need to mod to accommodate the TT or after market rad.

MyHermes
It has finally been delivered lol, i spoke to the garage and they said no delivery attempt was made yesterday as they were there all day, so little fib on the tracking. I did a webchat with probably a guy in an indian call centre, who tried to make out there was an address query, i gave him the business number to pass on. I then called the business and it had arrived today, although the tracking hasnt been updated. I wouldnt normally mind if it got there eventually, which this one took a week  its when you get given false information on the tracking page stating a failed delivery attempt, when one wasnt even made. I did expect it to arrive at least within three days though.

I have sent it to be signed for, what amazes me, the two contact numbers ive got hold of, get the same answer phone message from the same voice recording and directing you back to the website, so cant even speak to anyone

Does anyone use this shower of shit? I sent an exhaust system last monday to a member and its still not delivered. The tracking says attempted delivery twice during the day, yet it is to a business who are there 9am till 5:30pm, I know they have the correct address as i double checked with the member before it left. Trying to get hold of a contact number that works if anyone can help, there are a couple im trying in the morning i got from google but after reading many post on the subject i dont hold out much hope  My main concerns are, the member has not received his exhaust as promised, secondly if they state they couldnt deliver it am i likely to get it back? And thirdly how are they still in business with such a poor reputation? It wasnt that cheap to send either because of weight and size, but i wished i paid a bit more now and gone with Parcel Farce

That looks hand written and years old, the council without doubt should have repainted the bay should they wish to continue offering disabled bays, i would contest on the grounds of illegibility if there are no signs supporting the fact they are disabled bays

roof for lean to
You could use weather proof flashing, but ideally you want to grind a groove in the wall along line of the roof so you can bury an inch or so into the mortar, ie grind out a mortar line in the brick as opposed to the brick material itself, will be easier. Then either cement over or seal the joint between the flashing and the wall with suitable sealant. For the upper part of the roof batten and felt then tile or wood shingle down to the glass, obviously overlapping the top of the glass. Using a router, make some grooves in the roof beams to allow the glass to sit and use flashing again over the beam and glass join or sealant to create a water tight run off of water. Those are my ideas but as i said speak to Bri :thumbup1:
