groover Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Does anyone use this shower of shit? I sent an exhaust system last monday to a member and its still not delivered. The tracking says attempted delivery twice during the day, yet it is to a business who are there 9am till 5:30pm, I know they have the correct address as i double checked with the member before it left. Trying to get hold of a contact number that works if anyone can help, there are a couple im trying in the morning i got from google but after reading many post on the subject i dont hold out much hope  My main concerns are, the member has not received his exhaust as promised, secondly if they state they couldnt deliver it am i likely to get it back? And thirdly how are they still in business with such a poor reputation? It wasnt that cheap to send either because of weight and size, but i wished i paid a bit more now and gone with Parcel Farce  Quote
TheRealNips Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Three times now i have used them and 3 times they put the parcel in the wheelie bin (as a safe place) and 2 out of the three times it was on bin day, so i had to refund the buyers money. They are f"£@*$g useless... I spent hours and hours on the phone trying to received the compensation/insurance money and only got it when I threaten the supervisor with legal action and sending a recording of the phone conversation to the papers... dutchgold92 Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Funny you should mention them as I'd never heard of them before. We just got a package to the office from them with no name on it and nothing at all to suggest what it could be. Quote
Joely P Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 I've used them quite a few times now and so far (touch wood) have not had any issues. I have heard lots of horror stories about them though, as I have about just about every courier company still in business! Quote
Slick Pete. Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 I have a history with them of around 200 parcels successfully delivered.. Ebay use them as part of their GSP and I have received 20+ parcels from the US with them. All couriers screw up some of the time including Royal Mail. they put the parcel in the wheelie bin (as a safe place) ALWAYS send items Signature Required. That way the "safe place" option doesnt apply. Quote
Pebkau Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 This was in the local news exactly the problem you are talking about MyHermes idea of a safe place http://www.eadt.co.uk/news/delivery_driver_suspended_after_christmas_gifts_left_on_driveways_are_stolen_1_4344936 Quote
groover Posted December 15, 2015 Author Posted December 15, 2015 I have sent it to be signed for, what amazes me, the two contact numbers ive got hold of, get the same answer phone message from the same voice recording and directing you back to the website, so cant even speak to anyone  Quote
Funkysi Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 My Herpies are useless. I went on their online thing to re-deliver a parcel on a designated day that I was in, as per their calling card instruction, yet they repeatedly tried to deliver on the days that I was out, 3 times and then I got a letter saying I need to come and collect it; their depot was about 45 minutes away. Useless. Quote
JaiKai Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Your parcel is under the garden table :) Quote
groover Posted December 15, 2015 Author Posted December 15, 2015 It has finally been delivered lol, i spoke to the garage and they said no delivery attempt was made yesterday as they were there all day, so little fib on the tracking. I did a webchat with probably a guy in an indian call centre, who tried to make out there was an address query, i gave him the business number to pass on. I then called the business and it had arrived today, although the tracking hasnt been updated. I wouldnt normally mind if it got there eventually, which this one took a week  its when you get given false information on the tracking page stating a failed delivery attempt, when one wasnt even made. I did expect it to arrive at least within three days though. Quote
Eggs Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 I've used MyHerpes to send parcels a few times and not had a problem at all. Don't even get me started on Yodel.... Everything arrives destroyed! Quote
