traders feed back section ?
Ah i see what you are getting at Dan, but to be fair we dont have any bad traders in the section and therefore they are all recommended in their field. People who have had work done by specific traders should really post up feedback in the relevant trader section, i will try and place all feedback posts in the relevant section and look at a star rating, but again the star ratings would be in the trader section and a member who wishes to praise a trader would be relied upon to use the system. Some still prefer just to make a post though. Will discuss :thumbup1:

traders feed back section ?
It is in its own section, the traders section. Have you had a problem with one of our traders?

traders feed back section ?
We have in fact discussed this many times in the past and thought about how to configure a rating system, but IMO each trader has its own trade section in which they post and from experience, anyone who gives praise to a trader does so in the traders relevant section to leave good or bad feedback and therefore no real need for a rating system as such. It is only moderated if a slanging match ensues normally down to poor communication/misunderstanding from either/both sides, but we do leave if possible the full posts to highlight the facts in any case. Luckily its quite rare to have any issues with our traders and do tend to have been garage related, which is why in the past, we as a club were reluctant to endorse a specific garage. Zedworld were our only garage trader for some time, through many years of proven track record, great tech posts supplied and community spirit. As stated in above posts there were a few occasions when there where problems, but considering the volume of work undertaken, there are bound to be the odd issue, which are virtually all resolved via communication and mediation through the club if required. We did discuss a rating system for members who sell/buy parts but not necessarily for traders, i would suggest any feedback good or bad should be directed through the appropriate trade section

My new Z and her 'issues'
groover@300zx.co.uk You will have the standard two piece prop as the one piece is a custom mod, normally to eliminate the centre bearing and IIRC value for pound spent, a long term solution over a new bearing and fitment :thumbup1:

My new Z and her 'issues'
If the rubber on the bearing is shot and i mean virtually fallen apart, it will thud, i had it happen to me before i changed to a one piece prop :thumbup1:

My new Z and her 'issues'
Welcome to the club and im sure you will get all the little niggles sorted. I have a scorpion cat back system im selling, they have twin pipes on each silencer, similar to the look of OEM, in the for sale section. As suggested check the centre prop bearing for condition and play, if it looks off centre, then this will cause vibration at around 40 mph and if anything like my old one, completely shot and sounded like someone was under the car with a hammer at speed lol

Engine change and respray
An expensive lesson lol, but great effort in wanting to do it yourself. Take your time and really get each panel perfect, i know people took the mickey out of mine for being in primer for over three years lol, but after nearly perfecting laying on the primer after several attempts i decided that i either need to hire a spray booth for the basecoat or get someone else to do it in their unit. I went for option B and the guy who is a professional sprayer with many years experience did a great job, i supplied the paint etc, but he decided to use a primer he was comfortable with as mine was now getting on to be three years old lol and for what i paid, i was more than happy with the results  I put it all back together as i knew where everything went and how it fits, i also wet sanded the whole car to save on labour and he finished off with the compound and polish. Over the winter im going to do bits and bobs in my workshop and gazebo as i want to do the engine bay and door and hatch inners and inside the bonnet, but im pleased i got the main body done in a spray shop, peace of mind :thumbup1:

Sorry my mistake, i thought it rare to have two near identical strosek zeds that had owners who had lost/nealy lost an arm and assumed it was the same one
-
Seriously...............
Its the same car, look at the back story, used to belong to Chris (croesco) whom he says lost an arm, infact Chris was involved in a serious accident affecting the use of his arm, but didnt lose it as far as im aware. It seems the wheels have had the centres painted gold, new rear lights and a few bits done, but its the same car :thumbup1:
