  1. Happy Birthday mate, have a good one
  2. The bolt is an M12 and the part number from Nissan for the washer is 11026-01M02, any Nissan dealer should have one in stock as they are used on other Nissans too. NB it is a copper crush washer, so enables a seal by the very nature of its design, do not try and fit a normal washer as you will end up with leaks

Nice zed and welcome to the club :thumbup1:
  4. Dont recognise it lol, maybe Lee (Jaikai) or someone who has had their dash apart will be able to shed some light on it.
  5. I would have been happy to be in Portsmouth last week in my Yellow zed, but alas its been off the road all year, waiting for a new engine
  6. As Bri said , ignore him and take a negative feedback if you have to, ebay is nothing like it used to be years ago, its now full of sheisters out for a quick buck, fook em all i say :tt2:
  7. Glad you had a great time Trish, gutted i couldnt make it this year after so looking forward to it, however i will be there next year and in my zed
  8. Default is open as shown in the pic above, albeit by about 5-10mm
  9. They are spring loaded, albeit not very strong and do rattle when you shake them from side to side, the spring holds it open while engine is off This may help http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?176698-pcv-valves-explained-part-1
  10. You can pick up the feed from the two prongs at the bottom of the dash, which supply the 4 little bulbs that face the dials, as you look at the dash, left is positive :thumbup1:
  11. The 5 way 501 leds is what i used to use, but like you after a while one or more of the cluster would lose an led and and another started to flicker, i changed to 5 way smd leds and had no issues, but the light spread is not as good as the domed led heads, but by adding an led strip around the inside of the dash binnacle really makes the difference, thus making the rear 501 leds to concentrate on lighting the needles. The link has white ones, but gives you an idea of what you are looking for :thumbup1: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10x-ERROR-FREE-CANBUS-T10-5050-5-SMD-LED-XENON-HID-WHITE-W5W-501-SIDE-LIGHT-BULB-/291361079843?hash=item43d6794223
  12. TPS needs to be 0.44v Lee, everything else looks fine although the revs could come down to 750:thumbup1:
  13. Im sorry but you dont need a specialist to do the brakes on a zed, i would take it to another garage lol Abs may just be a sensor need replacing, again nothing beyond the reach of a capable garage, obviously any major engine work then best use a specialist of which we have a couple in the club under the traders section :thumbup1:
  14. Happy Birthday, have a great day
  15. The needle can often do that in transit, you need the front perspex cover off and move it back round with your finger, changing the mileage is another story but can PM you how to do it later on if you want
  16. Looking fab mate, you will need to take your dash clocks out again to sort your speedo needle though:whistling:
  17. One wire is a ground, so you only need run one live wire to the switch from your fogs, ie through the car to the dash pod or under the car to the front fogs for speed.
  18. Thanks for sharing, would love to do a trip next year, in the past i enjoyed the Amsterdam trip with some club members and its great to go for a drive out with fellow enthusiasts/friends :thumbup1:
  19. Its been off the road for a year now lol, going to be doing a TT conversion with a spare zed i have, ive noticed youve been down the gym alot since i last saw you lol, didnt recognize you at first :thumbup1:
  20. Really hard to tell mate, as the clip is so short, i played it over about 20 times and can possibly here some sort of exhaust leak possibly. Rolling road or on a ramp with the wheels lifted might be easier to diagnose.
  21. What a relief eh, nice one mate
  22. Above the clutch pedal up under the dash and iirc the vac pipe comes off the balance bar into the bulkhead
