The adjustment screw is in the end of the aac pictured, you might need to move the battery slightly to access it. Look at the unit from battery level and you will see the screw, sat in a slight recess

You need to get the engine up to temp before taking any notice of the readings, but looking at what i know so far, Tps should be 0.44 AAC 15% at idle Timing 15deg Get the engine warmed up and run it again.

painting cam covers
Really easy, the inlet cams are on philips screw heads and the exh cams are on 10mm bolts. You will need gasket sealer for the exh cam covers when replacing and the rubber seals with half moons for the inlet covers.

Painting cambelt covers
Plastic primer then normal paint, it doesnt get hot enough to warrant vht paint, thats how i did mine and have had no reactions or problems.

couple of auto related q's
You need to adjust your base idle, but you might want to check your TPS setting first, before you adjust the idle speed. Info on how to do both in the faq section.

Well the idle speed itself is too high, but what you have described it doing is normal between neutral/park and drive. What is it doing?

Rough idea of cost to repair?
You can get it pulled out so wont need a new rear quarter. Also if you remove your rear panel next to the seat, using a heat gun or hair dryer, you can attempt to push out alot of the dent, which will also save you money at the body shop.

Need some advice on prepping my Zed for paint.
cellulose, water based, 2pack, urethane, polyester based etc the most common are the first 3 but all but 2pack would need a lacquer top coat for sealing and protection
